B's went out of business. New owners - new Restaurant. Called The Pines. They gutted the place and redid the whole thing.. Haven't eaten there yet, but heard it's pretty good and features wild game along with other regular fare. It's supposed to be semi-pricey, upscale. Will review after I go.

Ben here twice on mototrcycle rides with large groups to Big Bear. The setting is nice on the lake but the service is unbeleivable slow and they would not split the check for more than 20 people. Have you ever seen a bunch of bikers trying to do math? :) Food is okay. June 2011.

These guys cooked the juiciest ribs ive had in California. The set up may look rough but the taste and juiciness of their food is great. Felt like I was back in Nashville or Memphis.

"B's" is (was) actually a restaurant and separate stand alone bar...the bar portion is still open and kind of a typical small town bar with a sprinkling of tourists mixed in. Enjoy the beachfront location, the dogs running around the over priced drinks and marginal food. Not bad, but certainly not remarkable either. "B's" the restaurant is closed and being... More

I think they closed the restaurant and are opening something else. It's only a bar now, with a nice view of the lake. Looks like it needs a face lift. But it was a warm day and you can enjoy the view with a drink. Not sure I'd go back though.

We drove to where we thought the restaurant was and since there were no other buildings in the area, we checked to see if the door was open and it was. If you want to go to a place that provides BBQ the way it is supposed to be served - fast and no frills, then this is that place.... More

This place is great if you want a lakeside bar or to sit on a beach and enjoy some beers while watching the sunset. It does seem to have a lot of dogs roaming around (with their owners at the lake) so if you are not a fan of dogs, this may not be the place for you.

The ambience was dead :(...our servers were really nice but the food was cold. I could hear the microwaves beeping in the kitchen heating our food. No food being cooked fresh on the spot...not good for meat. Did not eat our whole meal. Maybe our expectations were too high. Save your money and dine else where.

I've been to this restaurant many times over the years I have lived here, and have brought many, many guests. For the past couple years, however, I have been less often. The food is good and plentiful but there is no pride of ownership. In fact if a restaurant could demonstrate signs of depression like humans do, I'd say this... More
