Wonderful food and staff. We had no reservation and we were seated in 20 minutes. I had the crab newburg special. It was a wonderful dish. Its not the fanciest restaurant the food and service were great. Even the kids were impressed. Go there

Not at all impressed. Service was slow. Food nothing special. Big disappointment considering the prices.

Visited big bear lake for two days and tried to eat there for lunch, but the wait time is long. Returned again that evening earlier and managed to get a table outdoor. The setting is pleasant and the weather welcoming. The staffs were friendly and the food delicious at reasonable price. I would consider this place as a must go... More

We LOVE this restaurant!! Have eaten dinner here several times as we live close and sometimes drive up just to spend the night. The service has always been great but the food is what make us keep coming back! You must read the story of how this restaurant started.... it is on their menu! The outside patio is really nice... Our food was good but nothing to be super impressed by. Service was excellent but overall I am not sure we would go back because for the price, I could cook a better meal myself.

We were in Big Bear with friends who have a 2nd home in the area. They took us to the Peppercorn for dinner where we had a wonderful meal with outstanding service.

I am vegan and my husband eats meat, so we always look for a place that has everything. We were both very pleased with our pasta dishes at Peppercorns. We overheard a man at another table ordering a Moscow Mule, and were impressed with the restaurant's ability to please a wide variety of tastes. This is a place where someone... More

Food, wine and service were really good. Unfortunately, the gas heater on the patio ran out of the gas at the middle of our dinner but the staff was very responsive: they apologized many times, brought blankets and hot beverages were on the house.

Lunch and dinner menus. We did lunch and had a good selection of dishes to choose from. 3 of us and we each choose something different and shared. All dishes were cooked perfectly. There's indoor and outdoor seating, whichever you choose you'll be comfortable. Service was 5 star. We mentioned we we're celebrating a 21st anniversary and we're surprised with... More

Everything about the Peppercorn was outstanding. The hostesses, our waitress, and the food were all spot on. The decor seemed a little dated, but it is an old established restaurant in Big Bear. It is on the expensive side, but if you are looking for a nice romantic delicious meal, it's definitely worth it!
