We were excited to find a French restaurant in un-assuming little town of Big Bear. We were celebrating our anniversary and the whole evening was a delight. We enjoyed the prefix meal of several different tasty tapas, paella, and bouillabaisse as main course, and decadent deserts , all prepared by French born and trained chef. We enjoyed escargot as special... More

We we're walking around the village looking for an early dinner and saw this. The menu looked reasonable, but we kept our expectations low for a French bistro in Big Bear. We were pleasantly surprised. The dining room was comfortable, the service was friendly and the food is more fusion style but was very good. The prefix was a good... More

My husband and I had been hearing great things about the Ooh La La Bistro for the last year. We are frequent visitors to Big Bear ( just bought a home there) and finally, in May, we decided to give it a try. We are foodies and overall, we have been very impressed with the restaurants in Big Bear. There... More

I returned to Ooh La La Bistro this past June and brought my sisters and cousins. It was a fabulous experience. Both the service and food were beyond reproach. The hot and cold appetizers were unique with satisfying flavors. The salmon dish was the best I've had. This is a gem of a find in a mountain town. Do not... More

We looked for a French restaurant last weekend and were very pleased to find Ooh La La. The experience was both unusual and very pleasing. They have a fixed price menu at $29.95 for three courses, and their interpretation of that is to bring out food immediately and leisurely, so that we didn't have to order anything at all until... Just returned from an amazing dinner at Ooh La La and can't get over what a wonderful experience we had. The food was terrific from the appetizers to desserts. We live in San Diego and forgot that we were in Big Bear where food is not usually of this caliber. This same dinner in San Diego would be easily double... More

This held good promise at first, with its $29.95 for a 3 course meal deal. My boyfriend and I went there as our special date night out. You know when you go to cheaper restaurants to save money on a trip, and save a special night for a special restaurant? That was our plan when we chose to enter Ooh... More

Wonderful little restaurant with a 5 star chef. Prix fixe menu with 5 appetizers, entree, and dessert. A very special place. Every dish was delicious - extremely different, especially for Big Bear. A place we will go to for special occasions.
