Description: I recently posted the following on Facebook. Love the new lakeside location. (It's where the Vintage used to be.) Good food and friendly and fun establishment. There's also a pool table to enjoy. Damon & Cindy are the owners and are very excited about their new location and have some great plans in the works. Looking forward to the Mill Creek Cattle Company coming soon. Their food is awesome. Damon shared with me his plans to maximize the lakeside frontage. I predict that Diamond Lils Saloon and Mill Creek Cattle Creek Cattle Company will soon be one of the best places to go in Big Bear Lake. With the lake as a backdrop, it will also become a popular spot for weddings and parties. Oh, and did I mention that they have the longest happy hour on the mountain ~ 11am to 7pm, 7 days a week. Come by and check it out! Wait....there's more. Kareoke, DJ and live music.

Two weeks ago we went down to the lake for drinks and the place was closed. On our first visit after they opened, our food was not good at all. The chef had 3 smoke breaks while we were there. Our food took a long time and they were not busy. The appetizer came AFTER the sandwiches. I never ate... More

Diamond Lil's closed. Was once in one of the best locations on the lake and one of the only lakefront restaurant choices. Sadly now gone.

Diamond Lil's location is somewhat off the beaten path and is really only half the story, since the associated restaurant, the Mill Creek Cattle Company is the main attraction for us. The restaurant has been open for about a one and half years now and seems to have cured its initial slow service, at least the last time we ate... More

I like going here instead of the Hangar 24 when I'm in this area. The people are very friendly and the beer is very reasonable. It is a cool place and not overcrowded by little college girls who try to act like tarts and all snooty.

Service was slow, food bland and not what we expected. I will not be back. The facility was run down which is unfortunate as it is on the lake. The servers did not seem to care that we were hungry and unhappy.

There were nine of us and the bar was full with locals only one waitress was on, but she did handle all of it. When I ordered a burger with no bun, she knew exactly what I wanted and had a great meal. With nine people (three kids) we all order something different, no notes, she remember all our orders... Finding this restaurant was a challenge; signage is an A-Frame portable sidewalk sign propped on the curb of Big Bear Boulevard. The restaurant sits on the lake, off the boulevard. This would qualify as local watering hole at best, a dive is more appropriate. At lunchtime the indoor dining area is dark and not inviting. It was a warm summer... More

We had sandwiches, beer and fried mushrooms (which were HUGE) and all was very good. Didn't try the main menu, but location was great, on lake with good view.

The weather has changed from HOT to cold quickly. We were happy to see that a restaurant reopened at the Vintage. We sat outside because we had our dogs. The waitress is super sweet and has great customer service skills. She had to go from a warm inside to the freezing outside to wait on us. She had to have... More

I was looking forward to a delicious steak and baked potato dinner. Unfortunately it did not happen. The steak had good flavor, but was too fatty and was sitting on a gelatinous gravy. They oddly had no basic baked potatoes, but they had french fries, sweet potato fries, twice baked potatoes and mashed. I ordered the sweet potato fries and... More
