I haven't been in the New Inn for many years and heard that it had been taken over so thought it was worth a visit and a pleasant surprise. We thought the food was great, I started with Mussels (a... I can honestly say this is the best Sunday Roast that I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The selection of meat choice was fantastic and every part of the meal was tasty! All the food is locally sourced. There was lots of food aswell (always a deciding factor for me when choosing a restaurant for a Sunday Roast :)... More

Had a very nice Sunday lunch here. It was cooked to perfection. Loads of vegetables. Felt the meat portion was on the small side for the price paid. All staff were very friendly. The menu was interesting. I hope to return and sample something else off of the menu

We had a warm welcome for Sunday lunch here and tested both the seafood and the traditional Sunday roast, both of which were excellent. Portion sizes were also very generous and I was pleased to see Shipyard Ale on offer, made in my home town of Portland, Maine (sister town of Portland, England?).

We popped up the new inn to meet friends for a meal on Saturday night and luckily managed to pre-book a table at very short notice. The Pub has a very cosy relaxed feel to it complimented further by the very friendly landlord and staff. On arrival we were a little early so had time for a couple drinks before... More
