Could be a Michelin starred restaurant

A hidden gem in Siddi. Siddi is a charming village with character. You couldn't imagine that such a restaurant exists over there. A hidden gem in Siddi. Siddi is a charming village with character. You couldn't imagine that such a restaurant exists over there. The setup is very modern which is a stunning contrast with the village type and surroundings. The food is very sophisticated with a nice twist. The mix of ingredients and aromas, makes the food unexpectedly very tasty. I've... More

We had lunch here on the final day of our honeymoon. Having read the great reviews, and aware of the star, we where excited. We where seated in a beautiful room and offered prosecco on arrival. We chose the tasting menus- me the fish and my husband the "surprise". We also asked for just a glass of wine each, not... More

Our favourite restaurant (not only in Sardinia, but in the world!): we always go there when we are on the island and we've never ever been disappointed. Roberto Petza and all his crew are doing a great job and always keeping a low profile, which is something really appreciated in this world of (self proclaimed) mega chefs. As it takes... More

We ate lunch at S’Apposentu (S'Apposentu means in the Sardinian language, the best room in the house) on a Ciclismo Classico bike trip in Sardinia. The staff was more than nice about our group changing from our sweaty bike cloths into dry clothing. We went in the off season and were the only people there. It's like the slobs (our... More

If it was possible to rate higher than five I would have. The food, service and atmosphere that this restaurant provides is so upscale that it would be a guaranteed success in big cities. Who would have ever imagined to find this kind of a restaurant in this little town called Siddi. It was a surprise. When I entered the... More

We had both the meat and the seafood tasting menus and were very pleased with the attention to detail of the food preparation. Just wish we could go back to have full entree portions of our favorites. Worth the effort to get there. Go for lunch so you do not have to manouver the country roads late at night.

Recommended by friends we travelled 120 miles to eat at this restaurant, in the middle of nowhere really.Thank god it was worth the trip.we had 2 menu di terra & 2 menu di mare which made the wine decision very hard as they didn't have a wine pairing for the tasting menus, both menus featured locally sourced produce, highly skilled handled by... Streets of the town are very narrow but restaurant has its own parking. Design: it´s a very pleasant and elegant restaurant. Very nice decoration. The food here is exemplary. Locally sourced (as much as possible/justified) with an innovative twist befitting the recently acquired Michelin star. When we visited there were two tasting menu’s on offer, the ‘taste of the sea’ and the ‘taste of the land’; in the interests if symmetry (and of course the chance to taste as much of Petza’s food as... While staying in Sardinia we travelled to S'Apposentu for lunch. It was recommended by Giovanni Pilu who owns and is the chef of the wonderful Pilu in Sydney. Thank you Giovanni! We had an exquisite lunch, two of us had the " land" tasting menu and two had the " sea" menu. Every dish was delicious, unusual, contemporary in its... More
