We had both the meat and the seafood tasting menus and were very pleased with the attention to detail of the food preparation. Just wish we could go back to have full entree portions of our favorites. Worth the effort to get there. Go for lunch so you do not have to manouver the country roads late at night.

Recommended by friends we travelled 120 miles to eat at this restaurant, in the middle of nowhere really.Thank god it was worth the trip.we had 2 menu di terra & 2 menu di mare which made the wine decision very hard as they didn't have a wine pairing for the tasting menus, both menus featured locally sourced produce, highly skilled handled by... Location: in the small city of Siddi, in central Sardinia, aprox. 15 km from Barumini (the most popular nuraghe in Sardinia). You can find restaurant very easy. Streets of the town are very narrow but restaurant has its own parking. Design: it´s a very pleasant and elegant restaurant. Very nice decoration. The food here is exemplary. Locally sourced (as much as possible/justified) with an innovative twist befitting the recently acquired Michelin star. When we visited there were two tasting menu’s on offer, the ‘taste of the sea’ and the ‘taste of the land’; in the interests if symmetry (and of course the chance to taste as much of Petza’s food as... While staying in Sardinia we travelled to S'Apposentu for lunch. It was recommended by Giovanni Pilu who owns and is the chef of the wonderful Pilu in Sydney. Thank you Giovanni! We had an exquisite lunch, two of us had the " land" tasting menu and two had the " sea" menu. Every dish was delicious, unusual, contemporary in its... More

I dined here in a group of 20 in June 2012. What a delight! We had amuse bouche, then onion icream with smoked fish and prosiutto, a 65 degree cooked egg with delicious green pea cream, cripsy pancetta and smoked grey mullet. prawns in chicken stock with sour cheese ravioli and fine herbs, truffled boar ravioli with mushrooms and lardo... Excellent food, great wine dear friends for company. Only complaint I have is that everyone ganged up on us and would not let us pay. Lovely surroundings beautifully presented food which was outstanding. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Roberto's pasta is to die for. A return match i will be called for.

The restaurant is located about 50 km from Cagliari, far from the crowd that fill up Sardinian beaches in the summer time. You will visit a small and authentic village from the inland, where the old pasta factory has been turned in a charming and high quality restaurant. Roberto Petza, the famous chef, delights his guests with an always changing... More

I have always read and heard about this Michelin starred chef, Roberto Petza, but never had the chance to taste one of his fabulous dishes. Saturday night me and my family were driving from north Sardinia to south, heading to Cagliari, when I said "why not trying there"? We had no reservations. but the manager (Domenico) told us to wait... More
