Amazing

Was the best view of the entire honeymoon. Delicious food too. MUST DO. Go early at 7pm to watch sunset. Fun 17-minute cab up mountain from LS hotel. Sit in front seat of van if you can. Scary but fun. Sit outside on patio at restaurant to get best views of sea. Ordered the seafood salad... read more

This is a magnificent breath of fresh air -- literally and figuratively -- if you want a break from the preponderance of overpriced, underwhelming and stuffy restaurants of Positano. This is a cheerful, tasteful, but informal place where the food is good and generous, and the energetic, gracious owner is likely to pour you wine one moment, and play his... More

My boyfriend and I dined at La Terra during our stay in Montepertuso. It was quite honestly the best meal we had during our 10 days in Italy. We ordered the truffle risotto and the branzino. The risotto was AMAZING! After being home for several weeks from our trip, we still talk about that risotto! La Terra is a must... More

This quaint family-owned restaurant overlooking the Amalfi coast is a must for anyone traveling in the area. Locals and tourists alike flock here for some of the best home style food. If you see an 80+ year old fellow bussing tables, don't let him fool you; that's Luigi, the owner. He is friendly, funny, and will make sure your experience... More

We were told by a friend to come here and we were so glad we did. We were spoilt rotten from being collected from our hotel in Positano. Francesco collected us from our hotel and took us to his fabulous restaurant. The staff were beautiful and catered exceptionally for our daughter who is coeliac. They modified a couple of meals... The food and service were incredible, and if that wasn't enough they serenade you while your eating. Highly suggest stopping by and eating dinner.

On the plus side the restaurant will pick you up at your hotel and drive you home for free. Unfortunately, service is unattentive and food is only average.

All the positive reviews of La Terra are accurate! My husband and I had the homemade seafood pasta (to die for), catch of the day fish with lemon sauce and Parmesan aubergines for starters. Best meal in Italy so far. Although fairly pricey (average EUR20 per dish), it was well worth it for the fantastic view, impeccable service, great food... More
