Great food, Great view

While I had read lots of good review on this restaurant here, I usually take the reviews with a grain of salt. But in this case, the quality of food below me away. This is not your typical Italian restaurant. It is owned by an educated local professional who does this for the love of the work. He... read more

The manager of our villa helped us with reservations for six at La Terra on a Wednesday night. The owner sent a shuttle to our villa to give us a lift up the mountain to the restaurant, which saved on having to find a taxi given that we did not have our own transportation. Upon arriving at the restaurant, Francesco,... More

A wonderful setting, beautiful views complete with a menu offering delights from the region and beyond. The food is delicious, the service five-star. A surprise birthday cake with candle and a chorus of 'Happy Birthday' from the staff was a special treat! Worth a return visit!

Delicious food with an amazing view. From the moment we arrived (twice) we were seated with an amazing view (both inside and the patio). The waiters were very helpful and spoke great english. The food was great, everything grown locally (and some even in view of the patio). Great gluten free options too. Will return

We visited this restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel manager which turned out to be a solid choice. They sent a van to pick us up along with other guests from our hotel and another couple from a nearby hotel. The ride up the narrow roads was half the fun. The restaurant van was supposed to pick us up... More

The view seemed nice (we arrived at night) the service was fine; they moved us to a nice table after we asked for as we wanted to see the view /lights (I would suggest to go early). The food was not great.... mussel spaghetti too salty and the grilled prawns portion was very small. The shuttle is definitely a plus... More

We came because of the good reviews - however, it was a big disappointment. When we booked, we were promised a table on the terrace. At our arrival, we were informed that no tables at the terrace were available (without receiving an apology), and we were placed inside instead. The owner had an "attitude" and was arrogant. When we were... More

Went for dinner , they sent their van to pick us up which was perfectly on time. It's about a 20 minute drive from Positano. The menu is standard for this region however the quality of execution here is superior to other places. Highlights were the tuna tartare with pistachios, the Griled Branzino and Riccotta cake.

We made a reservation through our hotel for 7pm. We stood outside our hotel and waited and waited.. we had scheduled for 7pm in order to see the sunset. When asking our hotel where our ride was they contacted the restaurant and our reservation had been mysteriously cancelled. They sent a "private driver" to pick us up. When we were... More
