La Terra served a good meal at a fair price, but there are many “good” restaurants in Positano. Compared to its competition, it is just average. We arrived early; the service was spectacular until the tables got filled up. Then the service ground to a halt. The appetizer, buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto, and the salad were excellent. The bread- only... More

Very good food here - not spectacular but high quality. I had the proscuitto with melon and pasta with speck. Amazing views on the drive up the mountain.

We had a great lunch here. We were not staying in Positano, and arranged for them to pick us up in front of a well known hotel. We had exchanged a couple of e-mail messages with them and called on the day of our lunch and they told us that they would pick us up at 12:30. Driver was right... More

They give you the complementary wine and bruschetta and the restaurant has good views and okay food. Prefer La Tagliata and Il Ritrovo anyday.

It is our fault that due to an inexplicable error in the Lonely Planet guidebook we were under the misapprehension that the restaurant was vegetarian. But although there were enough vegetarian choices for us to eat here, the food was disappointing, and the prices well above average. The restaurant is wise in providing a free shuttle service from the lower... More

We had the best meal of our trip at La Terra. The restaurant sends a shuttle to pick you up, and the drive up the mountain is incredible in itself. The view looks out over Positano, the bay, twinkling lights--unbeatable. Gave us complimentary prosecco and bruschetta, followed by excellent and very creatively presented entrees.

La Terra was recommended to us at our b and b and it was amazing! Complimentary sparkling wine on arrival and very friendly. Very local and not at all touristy very nice. The food was perfect and the service out standing. Will eat here again if visiting the area again. via Tagliata Montepertuso (Postiano) 089.811179 laterramontepertuso@gmail.com

Had a wonderful lunchtime dining experience here. Excellent seafood mozzarella tomato starters, fillet steaks together with cod and sea bass for main. Courteous staff who gave us great service even though we had misunderstood travel arrangements. Would love to return and would recommend. Agree with other diners about views which are outstanding (especially from the women's wc!!)
