First time I went here with my daughter, the food was lovely, but the service was a bit slow, which spoilt things a bit as had very limited time. Second time went with whole family for Mother's Day. Firstly they did not have our booking, but were able to fit us in, which was strange as when booked they took... More

We eat here regularly, food is excellent, service is good, and prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is quiet, and the staff are very efficient. We mostly go as group of 4-6 and there is never problem getting a table. We've never had a bad experience here, but they could do with more choice of European dishes as there are only... More

Another little gem in Carlow Town. The Weeping Thaiger has great Thai food. The cater for all types of tastes. Spicy for the brave and adventurous and mild for those that cant handle the heat. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this establishment to others.

It's been a while since we last ate here and our meal last night brought back some beautiful taste memories. We both had the combination starters, which was not listed on the menu but we had eaten it many times in the past. It did not disappoint. I had the red curry and my husband had the weeping thaiger beef... More

The lack of interest shown by staff was complimented perfectly by the Slow service, cold food and fluctuating price for drinks. Three people in our group bough cans of Coca Cola, One was charged €1.50, another was charged €2.20 and the third was charged €2.50 all in the space of ten minutes

I have been visiting this restaurant on a regular basis for years. I experienced meals in the restaurant, take aways and deliveries. I have never found a fault to that place. The staff is very friendly and professional, food is always perfect and we are always made very welcome every time we visit. The menu is varied with lots of... More

Went with family including kids and grumpy grandpa early mid-week. Good selection of the usual Thai food with option of how spicey you want it. The kids were well catered for and the staff friendly and helpfull. the bill for three adults and three kids including a couple of beers was €65. On a small negative i thought the meat... More

My boyfriend and I have gone to Weeping Thaiger many times and have not been let down yet! Food is always lovely and you're never kept waiting for too long. Staff are very friendly too! I recommend this place to anyone who fancy going out for a quick dinner at a fantastic price. It definitely beats getting a takeaway!

Although located off "the beaten track" it is worth searching for. Thai food can be predictable and similar in most Thai restaurants. However it is better than most I have tried. I had Tom Yam soup which was better than most I have had elsewhere and the red curry I had was also really good. The fresh flavours is what... More
