An evening out for a Gardening Talk by Carol Klein at the Carlow Garden Festival. Booked for the meal offered as pre-talk two course special...50 minutes waiting to be served "due to the rush and a wedding"....was this not anticipated. Food was good but half abandoned due to lack of time. More staff for events like this would help considerably.... More

Food always good. Usually busy and will have to wait for a table. Music some nights and traditional music in separate bar. Also quiet areas to drink.

Had a full irish in here. Asked for no sausages or tomato. Came out with threw sausages extra pudding. That was grand anyway. I have the feeling the ingredients are all cheap as in deli food. Egg was lovely and strong though. Tea was lovely also. I wouldn't go back for breakfast. But evening meals are always gorgeous here.

Recommended by the B&B owner, I went here for an evening meal and a couple of pints. The Guinness was in fine form and I can only describe the meal as excellent. Good quality produce, very well cooked. Very good value as well, worth a visit!
