We visited the place with friends for dinner. The restaurant was nicely decorated inside, but this is all. The service was very slow, the food wasn't tasty, and the 3 out of the 4 persons had to rush to the toilet with stomachache.

Khayyam offer a great all-you-can-eat Indian buffet lunch deal for 20CHF - its different from the menu they serve the rest of the day, but its often quite delicious, with a variety of (5-6) options to choose from. My colleagues and I usually go there once every 2 weeks or so

Indain/Iranian theme. Pakoras starter was ok but the mixed starter one seemed to miss out all the meat pakoras. The mains were very dry, the chicken tikka and khobideh both came without sauce. Asked for an iranian bread and got given the indian one with the excuse we didn't make you one.

We recently tried this restaurant, which was near our hotel in Geneva. There was not much around and the weather was foul so we decided to give it a try. The dining room is very informal and frankly could use some colour or warmth to it. That being said, the place filled up quite quickly after we had settled in. The... More

The food was excellent, but as we ate during Ramadam, there was no alcohol so they sent out for some. I couldn't fault the service. It was a good evening and the different courses were brought out regularly throughout the evening. I would definitely eat here again

I read the reviews on the Khayyam, heard about the new ownership, and decided to take a chance on it. I'm glad I did. I had lamb shank with delicious saffron rice. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Even the house wine was well above average.

Ate lunch today (May 17). Excellent stuff! Great meat with grilled onions and tomatoes, and good fast service. The owner changed several months ago, and the new guy seems to be working hard to ensuring the place works well.

The food is very bland and the wine is sort of home-labelled vin de table pretending to be something else eg "St Emillion" is not. The server asked me to repeat everything 10 times. The decor is ugly. The credit card machine didn't work. Everything is depressing.
