Spaghetti with clams and Lobster linguine - both good. Also good choice of wines. The Maitre D' was attentive and quickly sorted a dry table when it started raining!

We had a great pizza at the Piazza! It was great to sit out on the patio overlooking the lake and made for interesting people watching. An enjoyable experience!

Impeccable service, right on the promenade/water, no rip-off pricewise (which is somewhat unusual for Switzerland).

The large sunny outdoor position on the lakeside Piazza obviously makes this a popular eating place for tourists, but I found the quality only average. Prices are typical for the area. A somewhat impatient waiter brought me overly dry scaloppine and French fries, which were a disappointment. The glass of locally-produced Chardonnay, however, was a pleasant surprise: well made, fresh,... More

Nice area by the lake, friendly staff and Wifi available. Bread offered was good, and pasta was acceptable, not too great.

Good Pizza - much better than the ones I ate at other more pricey restaurants on the waterfront. On a nice littel square in the small streets

This restaurant is right on the piazza and perfect for watching the strollers by the waterfront. Jim and I stopped by for a beer and pizza in the early afternoon. We had the local style pizza with salami, cheese, tomato and rocket and in the center was a round of local cheese. Very good, very reasonable.

The Piazza now shares a common kitchen (and a common menu) with the "Al Faro" next door. The asparagus in season we had for starters was great. My wife tried the Saltimbocca which, strangely, came without the usual sage leaf, and the risotto was somewhat bland (despite a strong yellow colouring). I took the Spaghetti carbonara which came across a... More

Stoped for a short visit on easter weekend at ristorante Al Piazza and i've to say that the food exceeded my expectations. I tried the Saltimbocca with safran risotto and they were really tasty. My wife and kids had Pizza and it was really good. The service staff was really on point and they seemed to enjoy working all together.... More

The pizza and wine were absolutely delicious! We traveled to Ascona while we were visiting the Lake Maggiore region of Italy. On a whim, we decided to drive to Switzerland and have dinner. It was one of the most worthwhile spontaneous decisions we've ever made. The staff was lovely. We enjoyed a romantic walk by the lake after dinner. A... More
