We booked here for New Years day. I would say the food here was no better than any other mountain eatery in the Verbier area. Nice balcony though and very nice when the sun is shinning. The main problem for our group, some of whom had planned to walk here, is it is a long 30 minute walk up the... More

Found this delightful traditional Swiss mountain restaurant on the last day of our recent ski trip to Verbier. We had a superb meal, the food was fresh and locally sourced. The atmosphere was great and both myself and my friends all enjoyed this restaurant. It's one of those places that wil always stick in my mind a long time after... More

We are here at the end of a ski run on a recent trip. Food fabulous. My friends shared a fondue while I had an excellent salad. Surrounded by locals who walk up in the snow and brag about it. Try the maple syrup tart for dessert which they claim is a speciality.

We walk up to the Namaste Restaurant, with the pleasure of knowing that we are going to have a feast, we ask all of us different drinks like a hot chocolate with a liquor, mmmmm delicious, beer, le petit ervigne a wonderful local red wine, fresh salads, with different nuts and veggies glorious colors and flavors, this was just the... We had a wonderful lunch outside in the sunshine overlooking the snowtopped mountains. It was simple but beautiful food, cheese fondue for three with spices and mushrooms. It was a fantastic lunch. Very impressed by the sculptures, friendly service and endless walks around the place. Will definitely go back!!

Perfectly situated above Verbier, accessible for all, and open nearly year round, I have never been less than delighted with the food and service of this wonderful homespun cabin in the heart of the Valaisan alps. It's a favorite stop for my friends and I when we go walking on the many trails that surround it, and during the winter... More

We were totally delighted with our meal at Namesté. We enjoyed the fondue "nature" (plain) for two and a fine bottle of Fendant white white as a perfect complement to the meal. A couple of tarts for dessert and the meal was over for less than $100, so not so bad for Switzeland. It's a family operation and everything went... More

We have been greeted by warm friendly owner Jean-Louis and Annick. Typical swiss mountain dishes served fresh daily. Jean-Louis's fondue amoureuse is worth writting home about. Tarte Maggie (his mom) is a must. I thrust it is the only place in this part of the hills where you can appreciate a maple syrup pie, a winner. The restaurant is built... More
