Excellent food, amazing ambiance. A small hut with traditional music and the decoration is original like a museum. The Rosti is just awesome. Also it have a 2nd floor table like a barn.

This is a real gem, full of rustic charm and artefacts. Food is delicious, highly recommend the Raclette with a large beer. We ate here on chalet staff night off and three lunchtimes on non-skiing days. Alp Hitta is quite a treck out of town but well worth it, there is a good electric bus service during the day but... For a cheese fondue lover this is the place. Not complicated but fast service in a homey Swiss style atmosphere restaurant, specialist in cheese fondues and other dishes including some live music songs from the owner himself. Restaurant is on the edge of the town, which helps with digesting the food during your walk back (taxi available).

Alphitta is located a few minutes away from the town center. It's a nice walk, but if you spent the day skiing and your legs are tired consider taking a bus or a taxi. We were welcomed by the owner playing a few songs on his accordion and enjoyed excellent cheese fondue. The prices are comparatively cheap (if there's such... More

great atmosphere and eccentric decor, very cordial hospitality. the host grills meat at the fireplace, occasionally chopping some wood to feed the flames. when he has a minute, he also plays the accordion, in unobtrusive small doses. nothing nouvelle about this cuisine, just good local food, though with the occasional addition of knorr products (MSG). Good Vallais wines at reasonable... More

Every time we go to Saas Fee, we have dinner in this restaurant. it's not that big, but the food is nice, people are friendly. The owner tends to play his accordeon sometimes, attributes to the Swiss feeling.

We really liked this place, both for a delectable apfelstrudel and coffe in the afternoon, or a glass of wine, and a great steakhouse as well. A place for all ages and tastes.
