La Ferme is as much a part of Saas-Fee as the Leaning Tower is part of Pisa. Inside, it is decorated in traditional style, typical of the region, and you'll find a warm, cosy atmosphere where every detail has been thought about. Whether you come for coffee and a nice chat, an aperitif with friends or an elegant dinner, the young team at "La Ferme" will tempt you with simple but traditional fare or something truly special and delicious. Typical specialities of the Valais region Meat specialities - some old favourites and some unusual novelties Fondue Chinoise with homemade sauces - eat as much as you like On our sunshine terrace with its wonderful views of the glacier and the comings and goings on the village promenade, we serve a freshly prepared 3-course lunch every day or an a la carte menu to cater for larger or smaller appetites.

Lovely lunchtime cheese fondue on the terrasse. Great view...

Great view, good cheese fondue, plenty warm enough outside with the sun shining. Staff were attentive.

The holiday doesn't start until you've had a prosecco mit syrop at this restaurant, sat outside on wool throws, watching the world go by....bliss

I enjoyed this restaurant so much I ate there twice in one weekend. The menu is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The restaurant has a great ambiance. The food & service were very good. The restaurant is run by the Sunstar Hotel.

I'm a resident of Saas-fee during winter time and I've got to know the quality of the different restaurants usually quite high. This time I have been really disappointed and La Ferme is definitely not worth a visit. Very limited and "standard" menu. Just a few Swiss dishes that can be found in any place. Small quantities barely to feed... More

After a day's hiking, we stopped by La Ferme for lunch. Rather than us both having a heavy lunch, we ordered an entrée (my husband the rosti with bratwurst) and I the gruner salat. Our server Stefanie was very pleasant and very attentive even checking on the food while we were eating (something which isn't usually done in man European... More

We have been going to Saas-Fee every Christmas for ten years. Every year, we would have several dinners at La Ferme, and it would always be amazing. Then, we didn't travel to Switzerland for three years. We went back two weeks ago. La Ferme is not the same. The premises are unchanged and the staff (new) is very professional and... More

We went for dinner on a Wednesday. We were a group of 12 people , 6 adults and 6 kids. The service was very good and the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Kids enjoyed their pokemon meal. (Chicken nuggets and chips - very good quality). My husband and I are vegetarian. Limited choices. I had saffron noodles and... More

I had thought this would be a great little place from pictures and prior reviews, but we were greatly disappointed both with service, which seemed discombobulated at best, and the rather boring dinners, schitzels and fries, nothing to get excited about. The salads were ok, but then again it's hard to ruin a swiss salad. Would not recommend if you... More
