Could be so much better....

Amaizing location for anyone wanting to take a break after ski, snowshoeing... Decoration is very nice but it stops there. Night Group walks are just a acam. They charge you 20 chf to go around the field for 45 min max... Food is ok but overpriced and service i guess wants to be local but is just... read more

How could you not enjoy this place? Hike through the snow and work up your appetite before you climb one last hill and arrive to a large burning fire and the warm smell of cheese. Friends and families are all there enjoying the various forms of melted cheese, meats and wine. It's perfect for a post-ski/sledging meal or go at... More

Bascially on the ski slope. Very typical "chalet" type restaurant with almost no windows, one portable toilet (for all guests) and a very very high price structure. Speciality is a Swiss Cheese Fondue for three (means in the same pot you have dividers so that you can fill in three different cheese. So far so good. However, when you get... More

I live in this region and there are many nice places for a fondue near the slopes or in the mountains somewhere calm. But this place is a tourist trap. Expensive, not the best food, service harsh and cold which makes the atmosphere not very cosy. Better avoid and check out one of the other real Swiss places.

An interesting place to take visitors, they do a fondue in very traditional chalet surroundings. Not pretentious, it is what it is. Always busy and quite a fun approach as you have to climb up a steep slippery hill by means of a rope! But you get to slide down afterward if you want!

Been to Refuge de La Trelasse after a night-raquetting with colleagues and friends for an Cheese Fondue evening. Wonderful authentic atmosphere and a great Fondue that is warmly recommended. If you're not after something shiny and polished but good good food in mountain atmosphere, this is for you.
