Lovely location under vine covered terrace close to the Vevey lake front, despite cheap tables and chairs. Limited menu but good quality and local wine selection. We both had filets de perches which were excellent and local Goron wine was lovely. Not cheap but worth it for the location and ambiance.

We were introduced to this restaurant by a friend who lived locally about 10 years ago and have been regular visitors ever since. The surroundings look quite basic but you can guarantee the freshest of Perche Filets from Lake Leman cooked to perfection. A simple meal of a mixed salad to start, Perche Filets and French Fries and dessert will... More

The very best steak de cheval and filet de boeuf in Vevey or even on the Riviera. I especially recommend the pepper sauce with the horse, a must... I live in Vevey and Le Port is the restaurant where I eat most frequently with family or friends.

Our lunch at Cafe du Port was so so. Staff were friendly but rushing around. The usual "filet de perche" was just average nothing to compare with other restaurants in Nyon or Yvoire. Slightly overpriced for what is is

We organized a reunion with 15 people and did not know exactly how long we would stay. So I made the reservation for lunch time and got a great table. We had the famous "filets de perches" and everybody loved them. We also got great service. After a couple of hours half of the group left but we decided to... More

the "filets de perches" are excellent but the service is really bad, we've been there twice and we always got waitresses that made us feel like they didn't want to work and were only waiting to go home. Had to call them many times before getting served too. But the fish was good enough to deserve an average.

The food (gnocchi bolognese and pizza) tastes great and in good portions. Service is also great so there is not much more to point out - I would recommend a visit.
