You couldn't ask for a more dramatic setting nestled in between the mountains in a quiet little valley next to a burbling stream. The food, ambience and service amazing. We had the rosti, cheese and salad for an entree and the eggplant and chèvre for an appetizer. The best meal so far in Switzerland.

At the end of a narrow road ( cross country ski track in winter) from Gryon and Villars you enter the nature reserve of Solalex in a flat valley floor with grazing cows and high mountains surrounding. If you want there are two restaurants one more traditional and the other the Miroir D'Argentine named after the mountain ridge behind it... More

This restaurant lived up to the two previous reports on Trip Advisor. The welcome was genuine for all guests and the menu was fully explained with drawings! They take an obvious pride in their family run restaurant. If the french language is a bit daunting for you the proprieters can all speak good english and will fully explain and answer... More
