Nice Sushi though not cheap

We made a special trip here from Pinnawala as we all love sushi and it was Christmas Dinner! When we got here at around 8.30, but the restaurant was dark and we were the only customers there which is usually not a great sign. It wasn't amazing but I was satisfied with my meal and some oters in my group raved about theirs. It was a holiday so they didn't serve... More

Channa is a great little restaurant (there aren't many near Kegalle) and they sell lovely little bracelets and Sri Lankan lace too. We had a very tasty curry and sides and the Japanese ice cream was lovely. Definitely worth a visit, particularly if volunteering in the area.

We worked down the road, so would visit here some weekends! The food is really tasty, they have western foods along with Sri Lankan dishes! Channa gave me a gift when I left which was nice! They sell maps and tourist guides quite cheaply here too! Worth a visit!

We stumbled upon Channa on our drive from Gampola to Negambo and were pleasantly surprised. What caught my attention was the exterior - very chic and quaint at the same time. Was happy to see a new concept and the feel of the place was very nice - the small retail area was filled with interesting goodies and the open... More

Congratulations, Channa (name of the owner), for being able to create an experience that is unique and not available at any of the numerous food establishments along the Colombo-Kandy main road. And I dont know of any other place that will serve up hot, just-fried, chinese... More
