We have eaten here a couple different times, including a large group dinner in the private downstairs dining area. The food is traditional German fare; very tasty and filling. 2nd time I've visited this establishment and I think it was even better on this occasion. Fantastic food, great setting and good service. In addition to Bernkastel-Kues being one of the coolest places on earth to visit.
I have been there with large ground and as a couple. Food and beer was always tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Location is beauteful. When we have guests, we always bring them hier for lunch or dinner.
We went here for a friend's birthday party. The staff was more than helpful with giving us a large area and even helping with the cake. They gave us English menus, but it cut the regular in half. The choices were very odd to me. I didn't see anything I wanted to order. I had the pork with Bernaise sauce...

This is a good restaurant, having different food stuff, thier staff is well cooperative and trained. its a good place to spent a evening.
