The best alt there is. Friendly local with great value pub grub. The pub skittles (Kegelbahn) is good fun for a group.

Atmosphere is traditional German: noisy, rivers of bear, semi-darkness. There's its own bear with good quality. The portions are really big (most of them include salad). That is nice place for company 3-6 people. The only a bit annoying point is that stuff is quite bad in English. But anyway you will be able to make an order.

We visited here due to the high Tripadvisor ratings, and it delivered exactly what we had hoped for. Be careful though - this place is very popular with both locals and visitors, so it is advisable to book, especially if you are a large group. Food and beer both excellent, service maybe a little slow, but it was very busy,... More

I chose this restaurant/bar based on the previous reviews, I was not disappointed. I had a great meal (the Brewery meat plate), 4 small, though excellent dark beers, brandy & a coffee for just under EUR 20.00. Service is great & the place is humming with a good atmosphere. Just what was needed on a rainy November evening. Highly recommended.

We wanted to eat something before driving home to the Netherlands and ended up in this Brauhaus. We had great food for a very nice price accompanied by the local brew. Loved it and will return.

This is a traditional home brew German pub iwth its very own still and the staff wear original lederhosen outfits. The beer comes thick and fast - as soon as you are finished the staff bring another one - this is because they are basically self employed - the more beer they sell the more money they make! Food is... More

Typical German atmosphere. We had a fine meal next to the copper brewery. Zigeuner schnitzel and a local "brat" Bruscetta as starter was excellent. And of course had a couple of alt beer. The bill was shockingly low! Good choice.

The Ratinger Brauhaus is one of several Pub/Restaurants with local flair in the centre of Ratingen. The Brauhaus is probably closest to the local train station of all of these (It is on Bahnstrasse after all). The food is rustic but not basic and of good quality. It caters to a German palate and offers a variety of local dishes... More

Two colleagues & I were staying at a hotel about 2 minutes walk away from the Brauhaus. The hotel bar & restaurant looked a bit soulless and so we ventured out. The Brauhaus was the first place we came across. We had a few beers at the bar but kept noticing some really nice food being taken to tables and... More
