The menu is really typical german, they have all the specialities from the region and a lot of german typical meals. Very good and the price is also correct !! In summer, there is a nice beer garden, great place to have a beer and a schnitzel !! :-)

Excellent German food with Apple wine or the local beer, as you may please. Good size portions, tasty food and a full restaurant inside and outside. You will not regret.

The "Frankfurter Haus" dates back to 1702. It used to be a historical hotel but now houses a romantic, traditional restaurant and beer garden. There is ample parking on the premises. The quaint restaurant offers typical Hessia dishes from Knuckle of pork with sauerkraut and farmhouse bread to international tastes such as Angus Rump steak from Argentina with potato pancake... Had lunch as a family on an overcast summer day. Service was prompt and courteous. The outdoor seating was very open, no crowds. Everything was clean and comfortable. The orders came out quickly along with drinks. The portions are enormous! Easily could have ordered half the food and been satiated. Closing out was efficient and the bill was correct. No... More

If your server is Melanie and you are in the room to the right as you enter the establishment, check your bill. You may have someone else's (higher) and then you may have more on your tab than you consumed. If you accept as is presented without looking ..................... Huge portions & no variety on the plate. Nothing special.

We had a large area to ourselves and the food was "catered"--a little bit of everything--and it was VERY good. The place has both outdoors and indoors and during a week day it was pretty full. The portions I saw served were plentiful and our own meal was done to perfection and every dish--bar none--was tasty. I was pleasantly surprised... More

We went to this restaurant with friends while staying in Neu-Isenburg for a few days. Plenty of outdoor seating in a private front courtyard under large umbrella's. Big portions of food and a very large choice of menu with several pages. You are bound to find something you like. Reasonable pricing with mains and 2 drinks ending up at 20... More

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years. The food is very German - which is rare in Germany! A great menu choice with seasonal additions. I could not say anything bad at all about the food and of course the great beer. On top of that, you have a wonderfully old building with a lovely beer... More

It is a great restaurant for typical German food and atmosphere. Good choice of food on the menu which are also explained in English. Includes also a good selection of beers. Service was excellent, highly recommended.
