Large portions and great restaurant

This place is well known for its extra large portions and traditional German food. It was such a great laugh to see if your friends/family or others in the restaurant can finish their food. The schnitzel came in 250g, 500g and 1kg. The restaurant is actually an old abandoned train station which was... read more

The portions are great for posting great food pics. It is entertaining, but you easily get tired of the food because of the monotonous, generic taste. Plus you are going to get charged for an extra plate - basically they're telling you not to share. The staff is great and friendly. But I would only come here once a year... More

I have been here a few times since I moved to Germany 2 years ago and I always love to come back and bring any friends or colleagues visiting here. The food is delicious and the portions are generous, that's before you even think about what size Schnitzel you will order. On my first visit I had 600g of beef... More

the portions are huge and an ok value the oil used to fry was old and had a smell to it as well as being off color the staff was helpful and nice albeit it painfully slow the bathrooms were a catastrophe... once you approached the stairwell you were met with the distinct odor of vomit inside the bathrooms confirmed... Never go there by yourself, even the smallest course is too much. Taste is not great but it's OK. In order to reach to this restaurant you should have a car. Waiters are kind and doing their job perfect. You can only pay cash.

There is an email that has been circulating for years with photos of massive hamburgers and schnitzel. If you are looking for that place - this is it. From the Frankfurt airport - we took a taxi. It was 36E to get there and 43E to get back. That's expensive - but the restaurant is well worth it. If you... More

The food here is great and very home made, calorific I think too but hey it's yummy. The staff are friendly and went out their way to ensure our daughter got a little something which I requested out of the norm. They also suggested a quite place where we could park the pram but still keep an eye on our... More

I love eating challenges. I love the novelty of huge portions. This restaurant is the best big food restaurant I have ever been to. The 1kg schnitzels and ribs, the 30cm diameter burger and the 600g currywurst. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. Even the ice cream is incredible. 3 huge scoops (looks like three tubs of B&J's. The staff were... More

Last year, in September I did a long trip in west Europe including Germany. I have been before few times but never I heard about this place. The place is a little hide between Stuttgart and Baden Baden in a forest, a wonderful and very quit place. You must look for a little the place but at the end, MERIT.... More
