I was here with a group of colleagues (12 persons) on October 30. The atmosphere is very nice, the food of a high quality and the service ok. The price - quality is very good. I will certainly return here when I am again in Munich.

Took a cab from the Marriott Hotel to this old monastery which is supposedly the oldest brewery in the world (hooray to those monks). The beer and the food were terrific and very reasonable. The service was outstanding. We were lucky that we went a little early since there were no tables left when we departed. Many locals which is... More

We went to Freising to see the town during the Oktoberfest while staying in Munich. We ran across this restaurant after visiting the church on the hill. It was so incredible we came all the way back 3 days later. It was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to because it was fine dining without the fine... More

Best beer with great views from the beer garden. The food is good. I like the goulash inside, chicken outside.

We went here with two German friends who told us this is the oldest brewery in the world. We were impressed but even more impressed when we tasted the beer and the food! Beautiful setting. Ask to be seated outdoors in the beer garden if weather permits. It is well worth the effort to get here for anyone visiting Munich.... More

I tried many times to have dinner there but it was either the closure day or most of the time completely booked. Now I know why. I was this week in Munich for business and was able to find a table. Beer is without question extremely good, food is typical Bavarian, and service is good. Was indeed a nice dinner!!!... More

A short walk from the Marriott, this was the best dining experience on our 10 day tour of Germany. From the exceptional service to the incredible pork medallions on carrot hash browns with mushroom sauce. Killer! Four glasses of wine (2 each) with soup (2) and entree (2), 60.10 euro. A great value!

The Weihenstephaner is located in a 500 year-old building, on top of a hill by the famous Dom cathedral and museum. The food and service are superb. We had traditional Bavarian food, and being of German roots, we found it excellent. On... More
