Sunday lunch with friends, traditional Italian food, some recipes I had never come across before all using local produce and game, all well presented by friendly staff. Beautiful setting in a village square where you can relax after lunch and watch the world go by.

We had pretty much the perfect lunch at La Crepa. A series of atmospheric rooms, all full of happy eaters: I think we were the only non-Italians. Delicious antipasto followed by several pasta dishes: marubini in brodo, a wild herb risotto and tortelli di zucca. Then pudding. All of it introduced by the expert and hyper-enthusiastic nephew of the chef,... More

This restaurant in a tiny, picturesque village on the Lombardy/Emilia-Romagna border. We originally found it via the Gambero Rosso guide while attending an annual party thrown by a friend who is lucky enough to be from a village nearby, then returned while attending his wedding. It is DEFINITELY worth a detour off the A21 or from Cremona. The food is... More

We were travelling from one meeting in Castel Goffredo to another in Pizzighettone. Just coincidentially we happenned to stop in this village. There are only two restaurants. One is closed. So we were forced to go to La Crepa. It turns out that it was an old and famous place both for locals and visitors from other towns. They are... More

What a great place! Excellent food and great service. The restaurant 'breathes' the love for food and wine. The sommelier is great! The way he describes a wine, makes you want to try it at once!!

The place serves excellent food, does have a great choice of wines but nevertheless has not lost it's charm for locals for whom it still is a watering hole. The owner's manage to cover this immense gap with style. Albeit having arrived well beyond the usual dinner time we hot a great dinner. We had great dinner inside and on... More

In this area there are alot of nice little restaurants. We were brought here by a friend who knows the restaurants in the area well. I had a sweet bitter eel for appetizer, fresh water fish with vegetable as the second course and a semifreddo for dessert. Everything was very good. The service was impeccable as well.

This trattoria is worth a loooooong trip. The food is first class, the al fresco dining is comfortable, the service very helpful, the wine excellent and not expensive at all. All in all, divine.

The restaurant is run by a very nice family which will make you feel comfortable since your arrive. The place is in the beautiful square of Isola Dovarese, an old city always silence and calm. Near the restaurant there is also a path that can be taken along a river. There is also a 20th century iron bridge. For what... More

Nice restaurant at the market place of Isola Dovarese. Service was good and we also got a private tour through their wine seller. It was really nice to had food outside in front of the restaurant. The food was italian but not classic italian. The wine offers are wide and good. Customers can also buy homemade pastries in the restaurant.... More
