I enjoyed a fantastic warm evening, sat outside. The backdrop is beautiful old buildings. The restaurant was buzzy, but not crowded. Good menu choice with some above "average" options and then standard German fayre for those that like wienerschnitzel mit pommes. Friendly staff and the chef came out to speak to us too.

We've been to this restaurant twice and it's not easy to find as it's in Lippertsreute a few kilometers outside Überlingen. It's not cheap but the selection of food, wine and spirits is quite extensive and should not disappoint. Excellent traditional restaurant with a twist. Fine cooking using fresh local ingredients including a good choice of game and fish. Superb friendly service witha smile.
