We really enjoyed the food here: seasonal, quality and fresh. The 'extra courses' were a superb surprise including oil and two different seasoned fats to accompany various breads; a sorbet, a savoury fondant; and chocolates - whew! Excellent.

In terms of food, personnel, tabling this restaurant is top in the region. It is a family hotel and restaurant for which orginality and top quality is a daily wish. The kitchen is well organized, concentrated and very talented. Serving personell is accordingly professional and devoted. Clearly they are less known to not native speaking German customers. We couldn't find... More

We followed tripadvisor to this lovely hotel-restaurant in a suburb of Überlingen, and were not disappointed: both food and service were memorable. The food was seasonal - Morrels and asparagus, wild garlic etc cookies in an innovative fashion. The price incl local wine and desserts was EUR 150 for four people, a more than adequate price for a very pleasant... More

We've been there on a number of occasions. The Kamin Restaurant is very comfortable but for me the winter garden on a sunny day (when it's too cold to sit outside) is the best. We've eaten the set menu and a la carte and neither disappointed. The staff are very friendly and on one occasion the chef delivered the sweet... More

The Owner/Chef, Andy, is a superb chef. The quality of the food just shines when on the plate--but you do pay for it. Mega selection of local wines and beers. It took a while for me to read the wine list!! It really is a place for special occasions. The dining room is a traditional eating room with lots of... More

Me and my girlfriend were in Europe for 3 months because of a tennis circuit. We had to eat out a lot and we had the best meal of our trip here. Best scallops of my life. The nicest chef and outstanding service!!!

Well prepared local "Bodensee" fish. Good wine selection, very friendly staff and "Chef". Book in advance if you would like a table near the open fire. The Conservatory is a bit too sterile. The "stub" is nice and comfortable.

Quintessential German dining in upscale hotel of the same name. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing dinner outside under a tree on their patio deck. We tried the excellent oxtail ragout, the lamb with scalloped potatoes and the eggplant mouse. The inside dining room was decorated in a more hunting lodge with a huge fireplace. Would definitely recommend the drive... More
