The food on offer is wide and well priced, the service was quick and they looked after our kids. I ate here ten years ago and it's not changed, it have great character.
We were staying at the nearby Maritim Hotel and favoured a change of scene for dining one evening. The Bergsee proved an excellent choice, so we were happy to return there on a second occasion during our few days in Titisee. Our command of the German language is not good, so it was useful to see an English version of... More
If you want to try the authentic regional German food, than this is the right place for you. The restaurant is furnished in recognizable Schwarzwald style and is just charming. Make sure the weather is nice when you visit, the view from the terrace is beautiful.
in the cold evening I try to find restaurant because I was late to know if some restaurant around Titisee Lake closed at 8pm then I take diner at Bergsee, I sit inside because windy, nothing special for food (taste, portion, garnier), quiet expensive but they served with heart....the day after I take lunch in terrace with superb view to... The interior of the restaurant was all pine, with a few... More
I notice this place hasn't had great reviews but we stopped once for coffee and cake and then again for an evening meal. We had good, helpful service both times and also noticed that the staff were quite accommodating to others, even those with fussy children. Our food was nice on both occasions also, not gourmet but perfectly acceptable.
This was a very bad experience , 3 out of 4 dishes were very bad . We ate less than half of our dishes
The food was ok if not less, the Spatzle was soaked in oil or low-level butter. The waitress told us it is against the law to serve us with tap water (which we were later told was "incorrect", mildly speaking). Eat there only if it is a must... There's a guy frying sausages inside a store a couple of meters... More
We had one meal here last week. Zigeuner Schnitzel (gypsy) was on the day menu so I gave it a try. It's my favorite type fo schnitzel and was quite good. We were there on a Saturday evening and service was much improved from our visit last year. I'm glad they're back on track with better service. The food is... More
