I went there several times on business tripps. Every room has its own style so it is pretty much like staying in different hotels. The service is friendly and the food is excellent (maybe a little expensive). If I would go on holiday in this region I'd consider staying at this nice place.

Menu recently changed to include game courses and seasonal fruits for dessert. Excellent wine list - the claret was superb, and the local wines were also interesting

Great little hotel in a very pretty and peaceful village. The staff were helpful and efficient. The hotel is spotlessly clean and immaculately maintained. The breakfast was very good and varied. We had one evening meal, which was local specialities and of very high quality. This was a short business trip, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here for a... More

Went here for dinner last night. Delicious food (not a long list of dishes but several local and a few "exotic" recipes), kind and quick service, family atmosphere. During the warm summer evenings you can have dinner our, in the courtyard - which is an additional plus. They speak English (incl menu) - so it is ideal also for non... More

Went there on a Monday evening, the service was excellent with delicate attention. Typical German food but high quality, a nice terrace outside, protected from the rain. Will go there again.

I just wanted a small lunch and the weather was rather hot. So I sat in the Garden of the Rebstock and ordered the kidneys with risotto. It was absolutely delicious and needs to be recommended.

The restaurant is still excellent. Just want to update to indicate that they do not have the kitchen open during the hours of 2 and 6 pm. Only cold items, like bread, cold cuts, cheese and salads are available. The quality of this menu is excellent as well, but if you want hot food you need to arrive during the... More

An excellent place just across the border from Switzerland. In summer you have the choice of dining al fresco or inside in an elegant setting. The food is unpretentious and the dishes fresh from the market. Try the chanterelles (Pfifferlinge) on a creamy sauce served with spaetzli, noodles or rice. The piece de résistance is their chopped mixed veal (meat,... More

We stayed at the Rebstock en route to the Alps. Arrived quite late but still got a warm welcome and enjoyed a spotless room and fantastic meal. The menu is varied and there is a good wine list catering for all tastes and budgets. We couldn't have wished for a better overnight stop.

Very easy-going, welcoming service; nice, relaxed atmosphere; interesting a la carte menu coupled with a daily prix fix menu. We really enjoyed the food and overall experience. Toilets spotless and with a very nice smell. There is a nice play ground just behind the restaurant which kept the kids busy as well! Highly recommended.
