this restaurant went into liquidation at Christmas 2013 so don't even both trying to book with them as you won't get in - everything has now been removed!

We turned up last night (2 January 2014) having booked on New Years Eve. Place in darkness and all tables / chairs stacked up. Called this morning by Liquidator apologising that they were unable to let us know in advance! Had a nice meal at Ponte Vecchio - just along the road.

Trevi used to be a favourite place for a special meal but now it has no atmosphere whatsoever and the staff were not very friendly. Everything seemed just too much bother - from asking for more bread, one tiny slice each? and why on earth are they serving margarine instead of butter? The starter was nice as was the dessert,... We had a delicious meal at this restaurant but the service was extremely slow, considering the place wasn't very busy....even by Italian standards! The staff could be a little more friendly too!

We thought we would give Trevi a try after reading other reviews and we are so glad we did. After speaking to the head chef / owner, it is clear that he wanted to put the old Trevi away and start again with a fresh new outlook on how he wants Trevi to progress. The sardine starter was fantastic and... More

Absolutely delicious food, lots of it and full of flavour. A sweet trolley to die for and excellent service.

Visited with my 12 yr old son to experience Trevi under (relatively) new ownership. We were both very pleased with our evening out. The welcome was warm and the service accommodating (they allowed my son to go "off menu" with his choice). The food was a shade more sophisticated than one might expect for such a location and generally of... More

We spend much of the year in Italy and have travelled extensively in that glorious country. We are avid gourmets and enjoy the national and regional dishes of Italy. Our experience of Franco's Trevi is that the food is awful!
