Lovely pub and restaurant

Lovely restaurant with excellent beer. Particularly liked the home made toffee like sweet served with coffee which seemed to be made from some kind of whole grain. They also had a grain snack on the table which was totally new to me. I had a rammelsberg schnitzel and loved it. Specially liked the... read more

Loved this place! Portions were HUGE. Gose Beer was delicious. The atmosphere was really quaint - unique decor. Families and couples were both present. Service was very good - our waiter spoke English. The restaurant offers nibblies on the table - I believe they were roasted hops they use in their beer. We loved our meal!

I wandered into this "new rustic" microbrewery for a "early" dinner (19 h?) and found that the dining area was packed with a nice mix of locals and passers-through. A very nice crew member - Oksana - peeled a table off for me and recommended great beers and foods. I tried all the former and love the dark Rammberger Pils.... More

I loved the warm lentil salad so much this is the only restaurant we ate at twice during a 16 day stay in Germany! I believe one of the managers informed us the lentil recipe was a Harz specialty they had found through library research and some tweaking on their own. It was served with pear, so it was a... More

A very busy place, make sure you reserve a table. We tried this place for lunch yesterday and even though it was packed with people, the staff handled it very well, we could not feel the stress on them at all. The meals were good and the beer tasty, so one recommendation from here. (I rate it 3,5, because it's... More

Half way through our bike ride from Liverpool to Krakow we discovered Goslar and this fantastic restaurant. As soon as we entered I realised what a fantastic place this was. The food was excellent as was the beer, just what we needed to carry on our journey, We also met a lovely couple from England and even an older couple... More

We wanted to spend our weekend by visiting Goslar, an historic town at the foot of the Harz. Walking through the old center, the Brauhaus was the most inviting from all restaurants at the central square. Absolutely nice beers and surprisingly nice dishes, both the vegetarian dishes as the traditional German food was excellent. We will come back for more... More

We dined with family here in beautiful Goslar on 2nd January 2015. After a couple of hours exploring Goslar we ended our visit in Brauhaus, a warm inviting pub/ restaurant. We had a couple of beers whilst waiting for our food. I had a lovely chicken and mushroom salad, the rest of the family had a version of mixed grill and... More

Gose beer very nice, good atmosphere with helpful staff. We had bread and dripping, and the goulash soup was very warming and flavoursome too on a cold winters day. Ideal location in the centre of Goslar. Reasonably priced and very popular.

Great all around restaurant in the old city center. The ambiance is very good and relaxed. The menu offers a good selection of plates and seasonal specialties. The food portions are enough and the food itself is tasty. Dessert offerings are good as well. In overall the price is reasonable for German standards. Service was good and fast. This is... More
