Any place that's between the ferry dock and that train station is bound to be a tourist-trap, but this is a decent one. It's lively, with a decent bar scene that is populated by locals because of the pleasant view(s). I had a main of felchen (fresh water fish) and chanterelles that was quite tasty. The potato soup had small... More

Good food, right by the train station, on the water in the harbor district, accomodating staff, well worth a visit.

This is a lovely place to eat with friends or with the family. The location is excellent, just in the Marina infront the lake. The restaurant is big and modern. The place is very clean. There is a very nice atmosphere for lunch and for dinner. It's a light german cuisine with dishes from all over the world. I liked... More

I really enjoyed the Haffenhalle version of the local Swaibian dish Multashen. I've been looking forward to this very basic but extremely tasty dish ever since i learned I would be returning to the Bodensee. The Spargel suppe with salmon was also very good. The service good have been a little faster but over a glass of Muller-Thurgau wine and... More

Incredible story ! You order 2 courses for 2 persons and, 40 minuts later, only one will be served Most tables are served one guest after the other. They don't care if you start your meal when your friend has already finished. As I was never served my salad, I call one of these "robot waitresses"? I was requested to... More

Great location, great beers but lost the flair it had during the first years. Become very routine and without care. Very routine and without passion. Food rather cliche german. With nothing much done since opening it has lost its charm. Has a nice menue in winter but also here without passion.

Fantastic site right on the water. We always sit in the outdoor biergarten. The beer is excellent, the garden food is good, simple German fare. Great atmosphere, very relaxed. Sure beats driving all the way to Munich for the high prices and unbelievable crowds.

I had a great time during my day trip to Konstanz, half of which was spent at Hafenhalle! This establishment consists of 2 parts: a proper restaurant located inside which extends outdoors onto a patio, and a biergarten located just next to that. PROS: 1) Large selection of Bavarian biers on tap: more than I cared to count or remember!... More

I was invited there one evening by a supplier. The restaurant was quite full a normal Thursday evening, which normally is a good sign. If you can just a minimal amount of German, try to stick to the German menu, as this is a bit more comprehensive and furthermore has the daily menu attached (this is missing in the English... More
