Lovely meals and very friendly service.

Had 2 lovely lunches at this restaurant- we both had the fresh grouper, with rice & beans and vegetables. Portions were generous, tasty and we really enjoyed the food. Service was great and very friendly. Cost was only CI dollars 9 each- excellent value. This restaurant is near the North side of... read more

A simple restaurant with the best Cayman selection of meals to go or eat in. The snapper and grouper are always fresh. Sides are delicious too and servings are huge! Call ahead for take out but come early since it is a popular place for the locals.

Looking for elegance? Skip this place. Looking for some good fresh food? Don't miss this place. Basically a shack hidden behind a liquor store, it may be hard to find. It is at the bend at the north end of Frank Sound Road. Picnic table seating on a wooden deck below a metal roof, with roosters and hens patrolling the... More

Great local down home cooking! Fresh snapper with home cooked sides. Salad fresh and crisp. Refreshing lemonade. I'm afraid to post because I don't want it to be too busy for me!!!

My family and I stopped by for lunch in Jan 16. Excellent blackened grouper, conch steak and conch fritters. All meals served with fried bread with garlic butter. Very local atmosphere, laid back rustic. Kurt's was recommended by one of the local's and did not disappoint. It's a little hard to find and not your usual tourist type hangout but... More

Truly a great little hideaway. It's tucked back behind a liquor store and is just a small place that seats about 12 tables but the food is very very delicious and well prepared. The conch fritters were our first thing we ate, then they brought out some rolls that were out of this world with garlic butter. Then we got our... More

Went out for simple dinner on Grand Cayman. Had bee referred to Kurts Korner so we gave it a try. When we arrived, it definitely had an air of a local hangout, but behind the bar was a deck with a kitchen. Great outdoor atmosphere and there were a number of other resort couples eating there. Both my wife and... More

This restaurant is next to a red barn, drove right past it. Nice local flavor and good selection of local fish. Was a bit slow, but tiny kitchen (appears to be very cramped). Authentic and quite a change from George Town.

If your going to Rum Point or staying on the North side of the island this place is a gem. Portions are large, price are reasonable. We enjoyed coconut shrimp, large house salad. Conch fritters and fish soup that my husband said was more like a fish stew. Outdoor seating or you could call ahead and takeout. A very clean... More
