Best local food, best price

If you are looking to eat like the locals, this is the spot! It was recommend we go here and we were not disappointed. The food was great and we paid about 1/2 of any other restaurant that we have eaten at on the East End. You know you have picked a good place when the spot has more locals... read more

this is a hard place to spot, it is right behind a liquor store/bar. if you don't know its there you probably would miss it. Open restaurant (on a deck, no walls) with local food and the bar is next door and they serve you drinks with meal. Separate bill from meal. Food is reasonably priced and with a local... More

Driving around the island we came upon this place as we were expecting to have to go farther to Rum Point or East End to eat. T Kurt's Korner really hit the spot, with a local menu that was both satisfying and reasonably priced. It's worth turning the wring way coming out of the Botanical Garden to go the extra... More

The food at Kurts Korner is outstanding! Fresh local fair as proved by the large number of local takeout orders that left while we were there! You find this little open air wonder to the side of White Boyz beverage shop as you come into Old Man Bay ... Best visited before the sun goes down and the mosquitoes come... More

My family loved Kurt's corner. They said it was the best food they ate on the island for the most reasonable price. They especially loved the Blackened Mahi Mahi. (I couldn't eat the Mahi Mahi as it wasn't gluten free).

We were directed to try Kurt's Corner by the cashier at the gas station nearby. When we arrived we were the only patrons there, but by the time we left the restaurant was almost full to capacity. Since it is small, there was only one waitress working and probably a couple of other women in the kitchen area. I ordered... More

We kept missing Kurt's Corner after getting a few recommendations for it (turn at Waterboyz). I had their seafood chowder, which was rich and had a great thick consistency. I also had a house salad, which was covered in lots of julienne vegetables and way better than typical 'house.' We had the conch fritters as an appetizer, definitely recommend trying... More

An open air deck with christmas lights sitting behind a liquor store/bar. Ordered grilled, blackened mahi and fell in love. Cooked to perfection. Side of grilled veg was thick sliced squash, zucchini (dont wrinkle your nose) and carrots grilled but still crunchy. Poor choices of wine, stick with water or beer. Affordable. View of lava rock wall. Parking is tight... More

You must try the conch fritters, and fresh fish specials. The sides are all fresh and good. We loved it, though yes, I did get some mosquito bites..definitely put on some repellent.
