Everyone in the East End recommended Kurt’s, but it was almost impossible to find. If you take the main road (only road) north along the east coast, the road will eventually split. The right will take you to Rum Point, the left will take you back to Georgetown and Bodden Town. Go left. A few hundred yards after turning left... More

This was a new place for us to discover on our trip this year. While there's not much of a view, the food was excellent and so was the price. We visited a couple of times while on the island and had excellent meals for dinner each time. Some have mentioned mosquitoes. We didn't have a problem but then we... More

We were encouraged to try this "local" restaurant by our Inn managers as well as reading reviews on Trip Advisor. I ordered broiled snapper (a local fish) with rice & beans, my husband crab cakes. It was truly not good. The rice and beans were dry and lifeless, the snapper I did not eat. It was FISHY. The crab cakes... More

As viewed from the road, you would never know this is such a wonderful place, with delicious local food on the menu. Very tasty and relatively inexpensive for the Caymans. Since this is outside eating, don't forget the bug spray (they did offer us a bottle to use) or the mosquitos will feast on you!

Food is great, local and homemade. It's not on the beach but is with the time to go there. Wear mosquito spray tho.

It's not fancy but the food has always been fantastic. A true Cayman experience. Try to arrive for lunch by 11am because they sell out quickly.

While it was a little hard to find, it was definitely worth it. A local suggested the restaurant, as we asked for off the beaten path suggestions. We weren't sure what to expect once we found the place, basically it's a covered patio with folding tables and chairs. I kept wLooking around wondering if iguanas would join us. Service was... More

Good food, good service, reasonable prices. The menu is varied and offers lots of local favorites. The fritters served with every meal are wonderful. The open air dining room adds to the island experience, although it can be hot during the summer months. The choices in North Side are limited, but Kurt's is definitely worth looking for.

This is a terrific place to eat there or take out. We took out every time we've eaten there as it's outdoors on a patio and it was too hot for us. I must mention that it is right next to a bar and can get loud, additionally it seems like a local hangout around the area and they watch... More

I must have drove past this place 10 times back and to to Rum Point and each time said to myself that I should go in. I was not disappointed. You could be put off by the pile of rubble and dirt around the other side depending which direction you approach it but when you arrive you will be impressed... More
