Charming restaurant with fabulous appetizers

My husband & I are very fortunate to have purchased a chalet at Big White & have just completed our first season there. Our aim was to try & sample as many of the restaurants on the hill as possible( we hit 7). 6 degrees was far superior in the appetizers than any others on the hill. We had 3... read more

We were in Big White during Valentines week this year. Had the great fortune to have dinner at 6 degrees for their degustation menu with the wine pairing. The Chef prepared a fabulous 6 course meal which was paired with great Okanagan wines. The wait staff was amazing and so knowledgable on the local wineries. One of our guests is... More

We had dinner here based on a previous visit which we throughly enjoyed. My husband had the mushroom salad in which the mushrooms were burnt. He didn't complain. I had the scallops which were beautifully cooked but the cauliflower purée was stone cold. Our niece had the carpaccio which was delicious. Our nephew had the bruschetta which was only ok... More

This is my all time favourite restaurant, not just in Big White. I have never had a bad or average dish at 6 degrees. Jeremy is such a talented chef. The food is beautifully presented, without being over the top, and using what seems to be the best and freshest produce leaving the dishes to literally melt in your mouth.... More

Returning to Big White after a gap of about 15 years, we had low expectations for eating out. Food had been, well, 'fine' last time round but nothing remarkable. We had done some research and 6 Degrees (or 6 with the small circle for degrees that I just can't find on my iPad, annoyingly!) was considered the best in this... More

Great food, atmosphere and service - not stuffy, just a really good atmosphere. arctic Char and Filet Mignon were delicious. desserts could be a bit less predictable - dishes based on local produce would be good: caramelised Okanagan apples with maple sauce perhaps!

I went for their degustation dinner and it was by far the best experience I've ever had with food and wine. The staff really know the best food wine pairings to suggest, and what makes it even better is that the wine comes from local orchards. The atmosphere at 6 degrees is one of elegance and comfort. Couldn't ask for... More

If you want fine dining up on the mountain, this is the place to go. The wine list is out of this world, and coupled with the delectable dishes Six Degrees has to offer, you can't go wrong.

We arrived for the 7:30 seating and were greeted with a glass of champagne - excellent start. The restaurant is small and cozy with a fabulous atmosphere. We opted for wine pairing with each course and it was perfect. All courses were absolutely delicious, although my least favourite was the mussels with smokey tomato sauce. The smoke flavour was too... More

This is a 5 star restaurant and stands up to its stars. The food was delicious and we felt very look after. Its a smallish restaurant but the atmosphere is cosy and lovely
