Good anywhere, great in Big White

Great food, atmosphere and service - not stuffy, just a really good atmosphere. arctic Char and Filet Mignon were delicious. desserts could be a bit less predictable - dishes based on local produce would be good: caramelised Okanagan apples with maple sauce perhaps!

I went for their degustation dinner and it was by far the best experience I've ever had with food and wine. The staff really know the best food wine pairings to suggest, and what makes it even better is that the wine comes from local orchards. The atmosphere at 6 degrees is one of elegance and comfort. Couldn't ask for... More

If you want fine dining up on the mountain, this is the place to go. The wine list is out of this world, and coupled with the delectable dishes Six Degrees has to offer, you can't go wrong.

We arrived for the 7:30 seating and were greeted with a glass of champagne - excellent start. The restaurant is small and cozy with a fabulous atmosphere. We opted for wine pairing with each course and it was perfect. All courses were absolutely delicious, although my least favourite was the mussels with smokey tomato sauce. The smoke flavour was too... More

This is a 5 star restaurant and stands up to its stars. The food was delicious and we felt very look after. Its a smallish restaurant but the atmosphere is cosy and lovely

Wow!!!!! I've eaten all over the mountain and 6 degrees is the best. I had the scallops which were plump and cooked to perfection and hubby had the mussels which were full soft and in a tasty broth. Oh so yummy. For main I had the Elk which I hadn't had before. Amazing flavour, melt in the mouth with roasted... More

Wouldn'r recommend this place for families. It is a small restaurant located in the same hotel we stayed in. Prices seem quite high. Make sure you reserve. My children really didnt emnjoy themselves, fidgeting became common after the first half hour. We had a risotto, which usually is a winner with my eldest son. He found it too salty and... More

This place is a swankier restaurant - especially for a mountain sport resort town. It's on the pricier side but I must say the food was good and the wine list an impressive display of local BC wines. The atmosphere was relaxed and somewhat intimate, despite the fact that we were a party of two blokes. It wasn't too loud... More

John and Anna do a wonderful job. You feel like you are in a world class bistro with the food, service and presentation. They know and love their wines so ask them to surprise you with something special. Make sure you make reso's though as it is smaller and there are only 2 sittings (6pm & 8pm). Well done 6... More
