This is a great example of what can happen when hard working couple take over a totally neglected brewery owned pub. Beers directly from the barrell, real larger sand ciders on tap all served in a cosy bar. Then there's the restaurant. Lisa who runs this eatery with her husband insists they serve pub grub and her husband is a... More

My wife and I travel the country bird watching and often stay at pubs with accommodation close to our destination and on this occasion we stayed at the White Horse in Badingham. On our arrival we were warmly greeted by the landlord Mark and landlady Lisa, what a wonderful couple we found them to be, very warm and chatty, humorous... More

To put this review in context our group are in their mid 60s have travelled the world and eaten in the best and worst of restaurants. Our first visit was on Father's Day it was very busy but the staff were very warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and plentiful. I had the Mexican chilli nice and warm not... More

Our visit to the The White Horse started off very well, the atmosphere and new lay out was warm and welcoming, the staff are chatty and friendly. The restaurant area allowed diners plenty of room for relaxed dining and conversation. Unfortunately the choice of food we went for was disappointing, the devil kidneys lacked any hint of heat or seasoning... More

Booked table for family 5 days in advance for a special occasion, when we arrived we were told the table was not booked (after speaking to fellow diners, this is not the first time this has happened this week), we had to wait over an hour to get a table, this is considered your fault as the owner takes no... Have visited three times since it's recent re-opening.Sunday lunch plus two evening meals. Made very welcome on all occasions, food excellent, particularly the steaks and lambs kidneys. Lovely to see the place open again...will certainly be at the top of our list for our eating out.

Great local ales and superb food was exactly what we got on this midweek lunchtime. Meeting new owners Lisa & Mark was a pleasure and to see some improvements they have already made sense - parking only at rear now. Friendly and warm is how I would describe our welcome and it was nice to see Mark at front of... More

We visited The White Horse in Badingham last Sunday 1st June, after a few years of absence because we just didn't enjoy the ambience . We drove by a couple of weeks ago and discovered it was open again so decided that, as there was a birthday involved, we would go and have a look. Well, what a wonderful meal... More

Visited this pub tonight without a booking, and despite the restaurant being very busy, we were welcomed (with a warning that food may take a little longer than normal) and shown a table instantly. Very extensive menu with lots of variety. I went for the fish and chips - delicious!! Very fresh fish in light crispy batter with melt in... More

The pub is now looking lovely and the atmosphere was great. Beers from barrels that weren't Adnams also made a change for this area. The food was fantastic when our order was finally taken. The staff were all running around making it look slightly chaotic, although all very friendly. Appreciate it was a busy evening with all inside and outside... More
