Le Bouchon is one of several good restaurants in Tignes Le Lavachet all serving much the same Savoyard cuisine; fondues, etc. It is small and quiet, and a good place for a diner a deux. Service is variable; I have always found it good and friendly, but my wife went there in an all-female group and they were ignored. Food... More

Great traditional French restaurant in Le Lavachet. We went in a a group of 9 on the off chance and had a wonderful meal with great wine. Lots of top quality traditional French food, and they also offer great value Prix Fixe menus too. The service was excellent too, the waiter was very patient and willing to help, when we... More

We booked this restaurant based on TripAdvisor ratings and I have to say it did not let us down. We enjoyed a three cheese fondue and beef, chicken and duck pierrade for our family of four accompanied by a bottle of Guigal Crozes Hermitage. It was all exceptional and I would recommend this to anyone seeking this kind of meal.

Friendly, welcoming and attentive. To start we had the duck liver foie gras and the french onion soup. The foie gras was OK, but nothing exceptional. I guess we should have... More

We were on a ski vacation during March, and almost every night we came to eat chez Arno, the owner of Bouchon. The atmosphere was very friendly. Arno, the owner is a nice person, who is always at your service. Very recommended to those who prefer a simple, friendly and authentic restaurant.
