Excellent Savoyard dinng

Wonderful atmosphere, enhanced by a view into stalls below, which this year housed a rotund pig and three goats.

Visited 2 years ago and the fondues were the best we'd ever had. On the strength of that we took our friends and family back this year. We were very disappointed. When the fondues arrived the ingredients had separated. We had to mix hard to blend them again. And shortly after the texture turned to thick elastic putty. Plus the... More

Two big problems here: service and food quality. First, their insistence on having two seatings for dinner just doesn't work. The waitstaff was simply not prepared for everyone coming at once and looked stressed and disorganized. We had to wait long periods of time at each step of the process, and as a result dinner took over two hours to... More

Styled to old farmhouse with a lot of old wood and stone and real fireplace and even having a children's attraction - 3 goats and a pig in a separate room with windows (no smell). Very warm personnel loving what they do (or them all are great actors). Menu is brought written on big charcoal board and consists of two... More

Interesting interior, great Savoy food, great wine list. Remarks: Cote de Boeuf was a bit too big, and the 19:00 plus 21:00 seating was a bit unconvenient as we wanted to have dinner at 20:00, but over the phone they said this was not possible. And when we came in at 21:00 a few tables obviously had started at 20:00...

We were a family of four adults. We booked for the 7pm sitting and were given a lovely table by the fire and overlooking the goats and pig. It was v busy and fully booked. We had starters including two types of snails - delicious. Two then had the cote du boeuf. A vast quantity of meat including bone marrow... More

We visited Christmas Day evening and it was fantastic. The staff were welcoming and perfectly polite. I had the snails to start, I had not had them served as the were before in edible shells-it was a lovely attention to detail. We then shared the steak which was awesome! A family on the other table had the raclette, which looked... More

A lovely cosy restaurant, with the animals looking on. We shared a cote de boef but, as always in France, be careful how you ask for it cooked. Our "a point" was more like a "bleu" but otherwise lovely.
