Delicious authentic Savoyard cuisine all produced in house (or farm) with good Savoie wines. The Perrin red was particularly good. We were seven and all equally enjoyed variously soup, soufflé and trout starters. The Cote de Boeuf was generous and outstanding. Tartiflette and fondues much enjoyed. Excellent lemon meringue pie. At €240 for 7, no stinting on drink, it was... More

There is no denying that this is a pretty restaurant and the surroundings are lovely. Disappointingly though, we were ushered to a table in a side room with no atmosphere despite there being many other empty tables in the main room. We had made the effort to call ahead from the UK to make a reservation the week before so... More

This is truly one of the best places to eat in this area. I have only eaten here for lunch but if their dinner choices are anything like what they serve for lunch then count me in. I had their hambuger savoyarde which is possibly one of the best burgers I have ever had (and that is saying a lot).... More

Based in a working farm, this is a lovely place to dine. Really traditional room with beams, stone, old mountain memorabilia, and uniquely a window into the adjoining barn where some goats and pig were resting (don't worry, they are not on the menu!). The menu is limited to the best of the area, Raclette, Tartiflette, Fondue, etc. and few... More

Recommended to us as the best in town by the Mark Warner rep at the Aiguille Percee hotel, it was a solid call. An old wooden building taht stands on the edge of the river below the lake, the warm, cosy atmosphere beyond the front door is immediately welcoming. The kids loved looking at the pig and goats in their... More

What a place! Superb authentic farm surroundings with fantastic staff. The quality of the cheese dishes and meats is outstanding too. The staff are very personable and all bilingual. Simple yet refined. Wine list is also good value. Try their speciality Tomme and Cider fondue served with apples..Will definitely be going back soon.

The ambience is very beautiful, yet rustic. The animals behind the window is a nice touch. The food is amazing. Definitely try fondue or their local specialty version and share as appetizer. The main portions are very large and hearty. The desserts are just beautifully decorated and delicious. This place is a must-try. Do make reservations as its required even... More

Excellent food in an atmospheric old farm in the Lavachet area of Tignes. The service was very good and the prices fine for the quality of food and wine. The snails, beef cheeks and creme brulee were superb and good portions for hungry skiers! A very enjoyable evening and we will definitely return the next time we are skiing in... More

Brilliant french cuisine in a fantastic setting. Sitting there enjoying our starters and suddenly looking into the eyes of a goat that had popped up to the window! Can't fault the ambience or experience. Quite expensive so be prepared to dig deep.
