What a lovely restaurant! Been to Samoens a few times in the last few years and missed this place to eat. Staff were efficient and friendly and the menu excellent with wonderful presentation of high quality international cuisine. It's different and even our fussy kids really enjoyed it. We'll visit again next year.

We have been coming to Samoens for years but this was our first visit to this restaurant. The children were hesitant at first as the menu is very different from anything else in the region. However the food was fantastic and the service was friendly. We had sushi to start followed by Sea Bass, trout, chicken and filet de boeuf... More

I love this restaurant. We visit Samoens probably 6 times or so each year and we always eat here on the night of our arrival - something of a tradition. The food is great and comes beautifully presented. Eating there regularly, it is always consistently good. I particuarly like the sushi - either as a starter or a main course.... More

We took a party of 11 and pre-ordered off the set menu. Almost all the dishes were deemed by our party to be delicious. Particularly memorable was carrot and ginger soup with a piece of crab, fillet of trout with parma ham and spinach risotto and the deserts - one guest described the pear, banana and coconut crumble with Baileys... Like visiting a family, good food and the service was excellent. We had risotto and chicken and duck. Not so many tables book in advance.

We were here with 4 friends and had an excellent meal The menu is small but varied enough to accommodate our needs. Service was first class, friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and very interesting and all of us commented how good the meal was. We will go back as soon as we visit the area

Mixture of sushi starters (pretty rare for a French alpine village) and fish curry or duck orientated main courses. Apparently the chef is Swedish. Bill came to 146 euros for four people with drinks and the waitresses spoke English. Slightly cramped downstairs and would have been nicer upstairs with view of the church. Only disappointment was a few advertised dishes... More

This restaurant is beyond words. The experience of such good food can only be done by visiting and tasting the cooks creations. We have visited many places and countries with their kitchens, but Le Monde is one of the best places we have eaten. It is like finding the truffels among the potatoes in Samoens. Chapeau to Boogie and Ko... More

We have been eating numerous times at this great restaurant for four consecutive years now. And each and every time have been a pure joy. The food is excellent, atmosphere is cosy and the service is warm and welcoming.
