Another good restaurant

We came too early but were invited in, given a drink, and something little to keep the hunger at bay until they opened. Great food and service, and a nice ambiance

We've eaten our way around most of the restaurants in Samoens now & Le Monde a l'Envers is the "standout" best. A great escape from savoyarde fair, it has excellent service & a wonderful ambience.

Four of us booked for a birthday meal. Warm welcome, the place was comfortable and inviting. The menu was small but clearly this allows the kitchen to concentrate on taste and quality which were superb. The wine list too is small but offers sufficient choice at good value. The tempura starter was delicious and the steak Rossini too was excellent.... More

This was the best restaurant we ate at in Samoens. It was quaint, the service was good and personal. The food was well prepared and tasty and although it was not on the menu catered to our children of 8 and 10 with a hamburger and fries. My husband and I enjoyed the creative menu and good wine list. The... More

A really nice place. This is probably the best or second best place in Samoens. Quality ingredients and nice presentation. Cosy restaurant. Swedish chef, we like:) Thanks!

Not sure what this restaurant is trying to be. The service is excellent and the menu looked sort of promising but somehow it failed to be fabulous. What on earth is sushi doing on a French restaurant's menu? If it's an effort to be 'fusion' - I think they failed to understand it means various cuisines in one dish, not... More

Lovely restaurant in French skiing and hiking village of samoens. Interior of calming terracotta coloured walls . Welcoming staff, helpfully translating menu into English for us . Wonderfully tasting goats cheese in filou pastry starter perfectly balanced balsamic salad dressing cutting through it, kids thoroughly enjoyed Margaret de canard and excellent steak, and venison fillets too . Good place to... More

Refreshingly different approach for this charming village. Very dedicated management and staff wants to make sure that everything is perfect for each guest. Small menu with very high quality food and well executed presentation. Relaxing and cosy atmosphere. Matching wine list. Tough to resist the sea food options.

If you are in Samoens and you do not take a meal prepared by Boogie, you have missed a chance to have eaten some fantastic food. Last year Le Monde exceeded our expectations and this year, 23.01.2015, Boogie proved to us again what a fantastic cook he is!! As said last year "Chapeau Boogie" and thanks to your staff for... We knew before we booked that this was a serious restaurant who aimed to be well above average, you should also book ahead as it gets busy, its that kind of place and it lived up to expectations. I think its fair to say the chef is proud of his menu and the quality he sends out, this was borne... More
