We have recently visited the Lamb Inn for Sunday lunch, having also enjoyed an evening meal a few weeks previously. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. There were 6 of us in our party, 5 of us chose to have a roast lunch and one of the men chose liver, we all had a... More

My girlfriend and I visited for a belated birthday meal, nothing over the top just something romantic for the two of us. When we arrived, we were met by happy faces and greeted by a smiling landlady, seated straight away as I had reserved a table. Service was fast and responsive with a bit of a giggle when the landlady... More

Stopped by Lamb Inn to see if we could get Sunday lunch for four at 1345. The pub lacked atmosphere but we were pleased they could accommodate us. Although the veg, roasties, gravy etc were good the meat was appalling. Thin, pre packed sliced meat with a very odd flavour that I wouldn't have fed to my dog. Ruined a... More

We stopped en route home from holiday - not many pubs on the B3212 road thru' Dartmoor so a welcome sight! We had a light lunch of baguette and jacket potato with salad dressing and drinks - change from £20 and very friendly service. Would definitely try again if passing by!

I've only just signed up on TripAdvisor, but the memory of the terrible lunch we had last year is fresh in the memory. The food arrived after only 90 seconds. Equally alarming was the lack of any cooking smell. I had one mouthful of the worst 'chicken' curry and hard rice I've ever had and my husband peered disappointedly into... More

Have been here for evening meals several times. Impressed that food is served hot and on hot plates. I require Gluten free as am Coeliac, they are always happy to let me know what food I can have. There is always a good selection. Very friendly staff.

We went to the Lamb Inn for a friends birthday . Nice place and well laid out eating area. Table nicely set. Friendly atmosphere.. However that changed when I badly burnt my mouth as I was not warned that my food would be that hot in temperature. I didn't like to make a fuss as it was a birthday celebration... More

We were travelling to the Chagford Show on August 21st and stopped for lunch at The Lamb Inn. Never been there before and stopped on the off chance. What a find; excellent food and service. Will definitely visit again when in Devon.
