We had the grill platter and it was great, they were very accommodating when we first went as we had not booked, but I would advise booking as they get very busy.

We chose this restaurant because I'd crocked my knee and it was pretty much the closest one to our chalet. The staff were welcoming and gave us a table right by the open fire over which most of the cooking takes place. This gave us a front row on the cooking theatre and an opportunity to see the menu in... More

We had an amazing fondue, with fresh meat, mountains of fresh salad, and a basket of bread for dipping, complete with an egg to make a cheese omelette with the last noggins of cheese. It was well presented extremely quick and attentive service. The profiteroles for afters were the icing on the cake. Tad pricey coming out at 110 euros... More

We ate here one evening, I had the lamb and my husband had the steak. Both were excellent and we were very pleased. Desserts were very tasty too, try the profiteroles! The staff were very friendly, my only complaint would be that there were too few of them for such a busy restaurant.

My wife and I have been in twice, the open fire and friendly staff welcome you into an amazing restaurant. The rib steak with peppercorn sauce is one of the best I have ever had, and they cook the steak on the open fire!

Stopped by on our last night in L2A as we wanted a nice goodbye meal. They were happy to accommodate a group of 10 with 5 minutes notice. Cannot fault the food, service and atmosphere. An amazing find on our last day!

We went here for dinner on Sunday night. Great service and lovely meal. The steak and duck were both cooked perfectly on the fire in the middle of the room. The salad and soup starters were also tasty. Cosy venue and good food. Would go again

Lovely traditional French cuisine. We opted for raclette and was not disappointed. As much cheese as you could eat, topped up as well as cured meats to accompany. Lovely cozy log fire in the centre of the restaurant. Ate here on chalet host's night off. Would highly recommend, and book a table.
