What a place! Positively surprised!

On previous visits to La Clusaz we've stopped at the Telemark for an afternoon coffee and hot chocolate, but never for lunch - until this week. Despite it's rather remote location on the slopes, the service and food were really very good. The terrace, when it's sunny, has a magnificent... read more

Waiters more focussed on looking cool and hanging with their friends than servicing the very average coffee and food on offer. I prefer the nice cafe just lower down next to the Transversal. Much more welcoming there and better food and drinks too

The Télémark café is quite simply one of the most beautifully located, superbly managed venues you could ever hope to find for any kind of special event celebration. Our party of 45, celebrating a marriage, were provided with amazing scenery, great food and drink, magic mountain ambiance (sunset terrace, log fire, hot tub) and most importantly absolutely stellar service. Allowing... More

Bon courage! We were greeted by these words by the previous occupant of the table, we should have heeded his advice. I was almost impossible to get the waiter - Monsieur J'arrive - to arrive. We eventually placed our order for food and drinks for five, after another 45 mins wait we got drinks for 3 and food for 1.... More

On a not so very busy day it takes about 5 quarters of an hour to get 4 plates of fries and a spaghetti carbonara on the table. Waiters are kind but it doesn't make up for the time it takes to get the food on the table.

We got married in Le Grand Bornand in September 2012, with 130 friends. After the ceremony, we had the most brilliant reception at the Telemark. The food was fantastic, the location was magical, the tent was perfect and all our friends danced like crazy to DJ Charles. Elodie was so helpful and professional throughout the months before and during the... More

The food is excellent, the service is personal, the location is the best and the view great! Sometimes, due to its popularity and own success, it can be very busy at lunch time in certain school holidays but most of the time the Telemark Cafe team is staffed up to cope with that. In the evenings the Rolland Brothers Nico... More

In our Christmas Holiday we went to the Télémark Café for lunch. The place was very crowded but we managed to find to tables, one for 4 adults and a small table for our children. The waitress took our order for food and drinks but never cleaned the table for our children. After 20 minutes waiting the table of our... More
