Cosy restaurant with traditional dishes

Very nice restaurant in the center of La Clusaz which is very cosy and has a lovely wood cabin feel to it. The traditional dishes are also fantastic, I would highly recommend the rabbit stew... yummy!

This restaurant was fabulous - superb food, wine and atmosphere. There is a bar across the way (owned by same people) with offers great aperitif. This restaurant offers good french food - catering for the foodie not the tourists. One of the best french meals I have had in France - def. recommend visiting here.

We spent New Year's Eve in this superb hostellerie. It was the 2nd sitting and although the staff had been run their feet they were still smiling and brilliant. Nothing too much trouble and it was packed. Lovely rustic food teamed with a great ambience - you can't go wrong. Best New Year's Eve we have had in a long... More

We spent New Year's Eve here and loved every minute of it! The service was great, the staff were attentive, worked as a team, and made us feel very welcome. The food was terrific! There was a special fois gras creme brûlée starter which was amazing, and we also had a large salad starter, very healthy! The main courses included... More

Had a family dinner here on New Years night, great atmosphere and very helpful friendly service. Menu was great, starters included pig cheek terrine (very good), salads etc, mains of steak cooked on a stove (excellent) light rabbit stew (my favourite), fondues, beef cheek casserole etc. puddings also good, and excellent wine list. The room is split into different areas... More

Creative menu, truly delicious food. The owners are clearly not just trying to churn out dishes for tourists. The quality here was outstanding. Really interesting options and great quality locally source products cooked to perfection. Great ambience. The only thing I'd say is that although it's fairly priced it is a reasonably expensive restaurant. I only say that because I... More

Great service, cosy style suuroundings and great food. We had oven cooked pig cheeks and veal in pots and a great fiorentina style steak. Definately recommended.

We made a late reservation and got the last table. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and from there on the service was just perfect. The food was exceptional, especially our main courses chosen from "grandmothers recopies" section of the menu. Both the chicken braised in 2 vinegars and honey and the veal stewed with vegetables were just wonderful.... More

This classic savoyarde eatery is like 'going to dinner at your grandmother's house' as the French manager at our hotel put it. Very friendly staff serve traditional dishes from the region in an Alpine lodge setting. The menu is varied (I recommend the pig cheeks) and the service attentive. The only downside is that there are two sittings, 7.30 and... More

Very friendly atmospheric restaurant with traditional style décor - they cook the meat on an open grill. Prefer the beef to the veal and you can easily share one portion for two.
