Had lunch here on the third day of our holiday week, the service was atrocious. It took about half an hour to get served, when the food (salads) appeared it was actually fairly good. I was still waiting for my second beer to appear when the waiter appeared with the bill, he seemed ungracious when I pointed out I had... More

One of our favorite restaurants to visit when skiing at Alpe d'Huez. As a plus, it is accessible by novice skiiers. Has a nice terrace for when it is sunny, and a warm interior with lots of windows looking out over the slope for when you just want to be inside to warm up.

Having had some pistes changed, we were unable to take our usual route but we knew where we were going having been here in previous years. Avoid the new high tables inside with high stools - not great for sitting with ski boos! Good selection of food as always.

One of the best outside eating places in synny weather all day long. Well prepared food often a price economical Plat de Jour.

Ideally located at the top of the network of green runs immediately above the resort so a great choice for families. Wide ranging menu covering tartiflette and other mountain dishes, pizzas and burgers and chips (chips genuinely outstanding). Service efficient and friendly, nice ambience inside and out. Highly recommended.

We ate here twice: once for lunch, once for dinner (fortunately the restaurant was open that evening for the Marmotte cycling event; I believe it's usually only open in the evening by prior arrangement for parties of 10 or more). Charming staff, wonderful food and a fantastic view from the terrace - highly recommended.

Summer sunset to enjoy a raclette for two overlooking the fields, alps and Alpe d'Huez. Highlight of our trip! Worthy of walking up the hill to wet your appetite.

We ate there twice. The first time we ordered the house specialities - a hot pot for my husband, and a cheese gratin for me - both were really good! The second time, we chose "regular" dishes - grilled sausages for my husband and a omlette for me, both with fries. Those two dishes were boring, of a fast-food quality.... More
