Off piste

Difficult access by off piste "blue" with significant uphill section for last 50m... you will need a drink once you get there! Salad starters were more than enough for lunch, very welcoming log fire and pleasant staff #middleofnowhere

The best stone cooked meats on the mountain, well worth treating yourself to one long lunch here. Lovely to get to with a fun schuss at the end, which you need to go for. Do not rush it and pick a sunny day and enjoy the fabulous quiet views.

This place has potential but seriously let down by basic stuff. Chicken skewer was raw and my wife's plate was chipped badly and the fragments of the plate were in the potato gratin, lots of them and some of them large. On telling the waitress nothing was done by the owner. The waitress was nice and looked more than a... More

Fantastic location, but having seated ourselves on arrival were told by a very surly waiter that we should have made a reservation as they were very busy, despite there being numerous empty tables. We waited 15 mins to be served and were then told we would have to continue to wait as we had not reserved a place (other diners... More

We found this place by accident. It's a little off track but didn't seem to matter as it was 3/4 full already. Food excellent, choice excellent and great value for money

Superb location and very good food. Perfect place to recover after hiking though it is a little difficult to restart again. The restaurant is nicely located next to a lake with of course fantastic scenery. The food was really good hearty mountain food and the service was very friendly.

Off the beaten "slope", but easy to find (it was however more difficult to find back to the ski slope after lunch, but it was due to fog and zero visibility). The location is beautiful, with a nice terrace, and away from the skiing crowd. There were some down slope skiers there, but most guests were cross country skiers and... More

the most beautiful mountain restaurant i have come across in my 14 years of skiing, nestled in the bowl of a lake it is completely secluded and is away from the busy slopes and ski lifts, truely authentic french feel and amazing food!

Nice enough location but overpriced for what you get.. Go to the lakes up there but eat in town as you will find more choice and better value for your money.. Or just picnic next to the lakes..

First the food: traditionnal and regional french dishes, freshly cooked, beautiful plates, generous portions. We were 4 and were all satisfied. Second the service: the woman was SO friendly, quick and efficient. She offered us in the end the Genepi Third the location: located not to high in the mountain, you can easily reach it. The terrasse is wonderful when... More
