I can here first in 1978 and it seems to me that the restaurant was then located a bit closer to the border crossing with Switzerland. Not sure about this. The quality of cuisine and fish were excellent not to mention the lobster which you can have cooked however you like. Oysters very fresh. Service very good albeit that the... More

I ate here with a group of 9. The menu is long and varied. I chose one of the fixed price meals (select one dish from each of three categories, plus cheese course and dessert). I was very happy with all of my choices, which include a salmon trio, seafood casserole, and risotto. Service was attentive and they allowed us... More

It was very good to visit Le Pirate again after many years. The restaurant is very convenient for Geneva airport and there is parking nearby. We enjoyed the food and the excellent service. The bottle of St Veran we chose from the wine list was also very good. The layout of the restaurant has changed very little over the years... More

Excellent sea-food dishes, well presented, perhaps a bit expensive. Parking faciities in the vicinity.

The most important thing was that the food was really good, and the house wine they paired it with for us was also good quality. All the fish was wonderful, sauces delicious, and beautifully presented. The amuse-buche was a chicken creme brulée; revelation! The ambience was ok, but could do with a bit of imaginative rearrangement (and less disinfectant!) Good... More

I'm a frequent visitor to Le Pirate and am highly recommending it to people travelling to Geneva. It is a "gourmet cuisine" at an affordable price. Fish is always fresh and delicious; sea food amazingly good for a spot without access to sea. Staff very friendly, helpful and speaking English (not common in France). You can trust them to choose... It was a while since we came here, the place itself has not changed but the menu prices yes. I suggest any of the menus which is awesome value for your buck. Cold entrée, Hot entrée, main dish, Cheese, Desert all for less than 50 euros? Wow. The suggested wine "deal" was half a liter of wine plus coffee for... More
