Quite average

The food and prices are OK but the service (at best) is only average. Can get very crowded and noisy.

Went for lunch today with my wife at Le Div'cafe in Divonne. We had the fish with safran sauce and the veal with morilles (mushroom) cream. Both dishes were delicious. Service was very polite but slow as the place was full. I strongly recommend making a reservation. Price was reasonable for the quality of the food. I shall return!

We had oysters to start - which came with king sized prawns also. Main course was sole and sea bream. Both delicious, especially the sea bream and the accompanying sauce and vegetables were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, and wine. The ambience was lively and fun and the service was efficient and friendly. You struggle to get decent fish... More

I have heard good things about this restaurant in the past, but my first visit was a disappointment. Three of us had the reasonably priced menu du jour (entrée-plat-dessert) for €16, but the food was no good. The starter salad was limp and tasteless. The filets the perche were muddy tasting (perhaps off) and covered in an indescribable thick yellow... More

We ended up at Café Div after prowling the town for a family-friendly place where we could sit inside - my daughter is afraid of insects. The food was decent but the server had a nasty attitude and showed us that we were very clearly low priority. About 3/4 through the meal a wasp landed on my daughter's plate and... More

We decided to give Le Div another try after a couple of bad experiences several months ago. We arrived early so no problem getting a table inside, however the restaurant filled up quickly so probably best to make a reservation. Happy to see that its under new management and the quality back to how it used to be. The food... More

We have been to L'Div previously and being in Divonne popped in for lunch. e had not reserved and were lucky too secure a table for two. I went for the plat du jour. A beef dish with tagliatelle which was delicious and great value. My partner chose the Marmite de mer which was fantastic: scallops, mussels, prawns and white... More

Le Div seems to provide a dining experience that varies day by day. Our group of friends had a good meal in this buzzing café. The atmosphere was just right, the serving staff very friendly and accommodating to our needs. A good place on a warm sunny night. Whilst most of us had the entrecôte (difficult to make this badly),... More
