Excellent, creative food served in a refined setting. Excellent advice and wine choice. Super value for money. In summer, nice terrace by the Divonne lake. Book well ahead for weekends!

Living in the area of the Pays de Gex, we wanted to dine here since many years. We finally made it recently and we were pleased by the experience. We tried the menu "Éveil des Sens", the most expensive one. We were exceptionally impressed by the flavours and by the overall experience. Of course the price is not for the... More

Having eaten in Divonne frequently, but many years ago, finding Rectilinge wa a pleasant surprise. Many of the older, more traditional restaurants where one ate very well appear to have closed, often replaced by appartment blocks. We had eaten at the Chateau exactly a week earlier, and so can compare probably the 2 best reputed restos in Divonne. Rectiligne definitely... More

A 92nd Birthday - lunch party - The staff were friendly but not pushy - the food was a dream - a collection of most interesting tastes and textures - not too much but a little more than many nouvelle cuisine restaurants. The ambiance is good and the prices where not excessive for this class of establishment. My only comment... More

Fine dining would not be my preferred choice of restaurant but there on a business dinner with an already selected menu but have to say was impressed. Food looks and tastes good. Would use again.

We had a great time at Le Rectiligne celebrating New Years Eve. We were served a set menu which was well composed with good variation of traditional and innovative cuisine. Some of the highlights were the marinated scallops, the lobster with artichoke ravioli, the pigeon and the delicious desserts. Service was impeccable and professional. We will be back soon!

Went with 40 colleagues therefore not my choice. You either like this type of food or you don't and I don't. So take this into account when you read this. I don't mind small portions but I want one big enough to actually be able to taste it and also not to be served huge amounts of bread to compensate.... More

If you like nouvelle cuisine, this is the place to go for dinner. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere too. The restaurant specializes in foie gras so you know what to expect. But the variety of dishes is great: both meat and seafood are well represented.

Have eaten here once. The view of the Lac de Divonne is lovely. Food is highly stylized, very good, very ambitious and artistic. We will go there again.
