Local Specialities from Savoie region

Nice local decoration and cheese specialities. Went there for a small family reunion for local food, mostly fondue. They even served fondue for one person and the portion is huge. The fondue was ok but not the best. The service was good and when the bill came, i pointed out that the price of the... read more

Stopped here for a meal in September 2015 in the evening. The service was excellent and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Wanted the opportunity to explore some local cuisine and indulge in a fondue and wasn't disappointed. Very tasty and enjoyable. Whilst not the cheapest restaurant neither was it overpriced in our opinion but offered good... More

Since my last (positive) review of 2011, things have changed at this restaurant. For many, the large and varied salads were the signature dish. However, the salads are now just merely ordinary. The burger remains good, but is over-priced (18€?). This restaurant has endured many changes in recent years. Changes of ownership and chef have caused a significant decline in... More

I have been here quit a few times with friends and everybody was satisfied! Here you can taste local food very nicely prepared. The service is very good and the prices are normal. Nice atmosphere as well.

Ok, we are in the town of Annemasse and not in Chamonix, but here lots of traditional dishes of Haute-Savoie (French Alps) are cooked. The cuisine is traditional and creative at the same time (try their hamburgers, Savoie style !). All of that is done with premium ingredients (cheese, hand-made cold cuts) and with a careful attention. The service is... More

The restaurant, located in the center of Annemasse, has a nice atmosphere. They have a good selection of cheese-based dishes, like fondue, raclette and tartiflette. But even if you don't like cheese, there are other possibilities, like burgers and fish from the nearby lake. Service is good and the price is OK for what they serve.

We lived in this area some years ago when we were recommended this "Savoyard" restaurant. Since then and each time we are in the Geneva area, we have to come back to this restaurant. Most of their most famous dishes have cheese, potatoes, bacon ("fondues", "tartiflettes", the "pêla du tournavel" is amazing and "raclette" is our favourite). They also have... More
