We stayed overnight in a charming room at this b&b and had dinner and a meal in the restaurant. Madame was charming, the chef a virtuoso and the entire experience was terrific. We will make this a certain stop on our next trip!

Sometimes you need something a little bit exceptional and you can find it there : art in the plates and glasses first, art on the wall with M. Bardot's paintings, and art of welcoming by Ms Bardot and her crew. A place to share a special moment between lovers, family, friends or even to conclude a business deal!

We not only experienced great cuisine but stayed for a week in one of their three bedrooms decorated in a unique 'provencal' style. Relaxing on the verandah on our first night in 25 degrees listening to the rippling River Ouveze below was magical. Eating a superb meal and drinking wine from an enormous choice of excellent quality was a fantastic... More

We ate the lobster menu. It was simply exceptional in "savoir-faire," surprise in the blending of tastes and in the overall "togetherness" of the entire menu. We went the same week to a famous 3-star in Chagny, but there was no doubt in our mind about which restaurant deserved the 3 stars: it was clearly the Moulin-a-Huile. Without a doubt,... More

The place is along the river, and doesn't offer much parking, so you end up about 300 meters away on the town's parking. The lady of the house is very nice, but takes it very easy in serving just anything. 20 minutes for the Champagne, an hour for the first dish, and basically 2 1/2 we got our main dish.... More

In an idyllic situation, on the edge of the river, at the foot of a cliff, under beautiful trees, we ate the best meal of our holiday in Provence here. My husband had the best ris de veau he has ever tasted, with lobster as a starter (it's the season for 'homard bleu') and my rouget 'en nage d'orange' and... More

We shall not forget the experience of dining at this restaurant, it was one of the highlights of our two week stay in Provence. Yes, it is very much old school but everything from start to finish was just perfect and chef Robert Bardot has lost none of his great culinary magic and his delightful wife is so accommodating and... I rate this restaurant with a 2 out of 5. We actually had a very nice dinner. Diner is OK, but I expect more of a restaurant with one star, judging from experiences I have here in Amsterdam. The lady who served us, acted arrogant. Yes I am a vegetarian, but how difficult can that be for a one starred... More

I don't understand the many favorable reviews for this over-the-hill, worse-than-mediocre restaurant. The chef, who once earned Michelin stars, is more interested in painting so his worse-than-mediocre canvasses are spread out on the terrace. Not only is the food terrible and over-priced, the service is worse. I live in France 4 months a year, not far from this restaurant, so... More
