Having no choice is a good choice!

My husband and I walked over from our rental apartment to Le. Moulin for a lovely dinner. The menu is fixed, the chef has taken care. The meal was delicious but the wine selection, while extensive was very overpriced especially given the source of many was within 20 kilometers and having been to... read more

This restaurant is off the beaten track but only just. Walk down from the Roman bridge and immerse yourself in a gastronomic experience like no other. Tartare of Magret ( duck ) followed by perfectly cooked sea bass with ribbon courgettes then fig tart with lavender cream, the cheese was apparently good too. The extras of the amuse bouche of... It is definitely worth the small walk outside the city, because just 200m from the roman bridge you will find this hidden treasure. We paid just 32 euros for a 3 course menu, but it was more than that: we also got a snack, an ekstra starter (a really delicious gazpacho) and when we ordered coffee, also homemade macarons. The... Natalie was the best at explaining and serving our meal. Oh, and she is the pastry chef! The food was one of the very best that we have ever had - anywhere. Natalie has a slight command of English and we have a slight command of French - but together we knew what we had ordered. We had the chicken... More

Madame Bardot and her team are tops in the area. The pretty setting along the Ouveze sets the stage for an outstanding meal. We have been eating here for years and have never been disappointed.

We had eaten dinner at the restaurant twice before and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and food offered and this time we stayed in one of the 3 rooms available. Breakfast eaten on the terrace was a lovely way to start the day. After having been in Paris and having eaten at other Michelin rated restaurants this was the best. It... More

We stayed overnight in a charming room at this b&b and had dinner and a meal in the restaurant. Madame was charming, the chef a virtuoso and the entire experience was terrific. We will make this a certain stop on our next trip!

Sometimes you need something a little bit exceptional and you can find it there : art in the plates and glasses first, art on the wall with M. Bardot's paintings, and art of welcoming by Ms Bardot and her crew. A place to share a special moment between lovers, family, friends or even to conclude a business deal!

We not only experienced great cuisine but stayed for a week in one of their three bedrooms decorated in a unique 'provencal' style. Relaxing on the verandah on our first night in 25 degrees listening to the rippling River Ouveze below was magical. Eating a superb meal and drinking wine from an enormous choice of excellent quality was a fantastic... More

We ate the lobster menu. It was simply exceptional in "savoir-faire," surprise in the blending of tastes and in the overall "togetherness" of the entire menu. We went the same week to a famous 3-star in Chagny, but there was no doubt in our mind about which restaurant deserved the 3 stars: it was clearly the Moulin-a-Huile. Without a doubt,... More
