We had a delicious meal here at the recommendation of the hotel in which we were staying. We arrived late and inquired about dinner. She made us a reservation and we took a lovely walk to it. The setting is spectacular eating under the trees and the food the best my husband a foodie had on our trip. The chef... More

Had a beautiful lunch menu at Le Girocedre after my parents have been raving about it for years. It's a wonderful quiet, shady garden to enjoy a good meal at lunch and I can imagine it to be atmospheric in the evenings with the lights and grill going. There is not a huge choice on the menu-but then everything is... More

It is somewhat of a mystery why Le Girocedre seems to have escaped the notice of the compilers of the best known restaurant guides. Situated in the charming village of Puymeras, it benefits from a beautiful garden setting. Tables are not packed too closely together and there are parasols available if shade is required. This is very much a family... More

Nice restaurant whether you are int the garden or indoors. Obviously very popular with the locals - the food is very good with lots of fresh fish and meat on the grill as well as a selection of tasty, more elegant dishes to choose from. Service is excellent, especially in helping to choose from the local wines!

Lunch on the first weekend of the new season with friends who had not been for several years, and Saturday dinner a week or so later, were both very good and well up to the standard that the Girocedre has established the last couple of years with Jules in the kitchen. The usual warm welcome from Cedric and Giselle front... More

Great, great setting. Love the garden and town. I would really give this restaurant 3.5 stars. The meat in the entree was good but the mashed potatoes were gross, swimming in olive oil. The dessert was outstanding, almost too pretty to eat. Take some extra time to walk around the town.

We were staying in Vaison la Romaine & this restaurant was recommended by a number of people so we booked for Sunday lunch and weren't disappointed. It was a lovely sunny afternoon & we were seated in a beautiful garden terrace under one of the trees. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. If you are in the... More

Whilst their address says Vaison La Romaine, they are actually in a neighboring village. Nice drive, but you have to have a car. This restaurant has only outdoor seating - very nice if the temperatures play ball. We were there on a bit of a chilly evening and it was a challenge. Food was perfectly fine - not brilliant -... This restaurant is set within a lovely shaded garden (we didn't go inside) in a very pretty little village just outside Vaison La Romaine. All the favourable reviews put it on to our list and we weren't disappointed. Great meal with choices for vegetarians and fisheaters - the ile flottante of loup was especially good, as was the fraise assortment.... More
